Replay Adjustment - Data East First Generation Alpha

Procedure to adjust replay levels on First Generation Data East Alpha tables

Posted by ta2686 on Apr 17 2013 08:37 PM
Here is the procedure for the First Generation of Data East Alpha tables:

1. Press 7 to enter audit and adjustment mode.

2. Continue to press 7 until you see Auto Replay (or Replay Manual) and Ad 01 in the player displays. This is used to select either an auto replay percentage or fixed replays.

3. Press the 1 key to change the replay percentage to a higher or lower percentage, or off for fixed replays.

(NOTE: To go lower than the current replay percentage, or to get to fixed replays faster, press 8 before pressing 1 to decrease the replay percentage. To go back to increasing percentage, press 8 again) Replay percentage can be adjusted between 1 percent and 50 percent.

4. Press 7 to go to the next adjustment. The next steps to follow depends on whether you selected fixed replays or auto replay percentage.

For Auto Replays:

5. Press the 1 key to adjust the replay start level. This can range from 800,000 to 2,400,000. Again, to go lower press 8 before pressing the 1 key. The score will either increment or decrement by 100,000 while pressing the 1 key.

6. Press 7 to go to next adjustment.

7. Press the 1 key to change the number of replay levels, which can range from 1 to 4.

8. Press F3 to save changes and reset the table.

NOTE: For these tables I could not find any information on changing the high score to date information. If anyone has that information, please PM me so it could be included here.

For Fixed Replays:

5. Press the 1 key to change the first replay level. NOTE: To go lower than the current value, press the 8 key before pressing the 1 key. The score will increment or decrement by 100,000 while pressing the 1 key.

6. Press 7 to show the second replay level.

7. Repeat step 5 to set the second replay level.

8. Press 7 to show the third replay level.

9. Repeat step 5 to set the third replay level.

10. Press 7 to show the fourth replay level.

11. Repeat step 5 to set the fourth replay level.

12. Press F3 to save changes and reset the table.

NOTE: To disable a replay level, set it to zero (or off).

This procedure should work for the following tables:
