Balls per Game Adjustment - Taito do Brasil

Procedure to adjust number of balls per game on Taito do Brasil tables

Posted by ta2686 on Apr 16 2013 08:09 PM
Here is the procedure to set number of balls on Taito do Brasil tables.

1. Press the END key to open the coin door.

2. Press the 7 key to raise the service switch

3. Press the 8 key to raise the adjustment switch

4. You should see something similar to the following:

      a. In player one display: 061105
      b. In player two display: 404010
      c. In player three display: 010540
      d. In player four display: either all zeros or all blanks

These correspond to what the current values are in the menu selections of the table. For the purposes of this guide, we need to concern ourselves with the last two digits of the player one display.

5. Press the minus key (‘-‘) then press the 1 key to enter the menu system. The first player display should look something similar to this:

010500

which corresponds to this: the first two digits are the menu option, the third and fourth digits correspond to the current number of balls, the last two digits correspond to the possible value that it can be set to (currently 00 so the value will not change)

7. Press F6 to bring up the dip switch menu

8. Select the dip switches that correspond to the number of balls you want to set the first replay level to. The dip switches that we need to concern ourselves with are marked CH0, CH1 and CH2 in the dip switch menu. The combination of the switches selected will correspond to the value in the table shown below (NOTE: I am taking this information from a document created by PacDude when he created his Fire Action table. From what tests I have done, this holds true for all tables by this manufacturer. The values shown come from his document, but they may not apply to all of this manufacturer’s tables):
CH0 CH1 CH2
3 balls On On Off
4 balls Off Off On
5 balls On Off On
6 balls Off On On

8. Click OK to exit dip switch menu. You should see two different digits in the last two positions of the first player display

9. Press the zero (‘0’) key to move the new value into the third and fourth digits.

10. Press F6 to enter dip switch menu

11. If any of the switches are set, uncheck them

12. Click OK to exit dip switch menu

13. Press 7 key to lower the service switch

14. Press 8 key to lower the adjustment switch

15. Press then END key to close the coin door

16. Press F3 to reset the table

This procedure should work for the following tables:

Taito tables:
Gork, Lady Luck, Lunelle, Meteor, Mr. Black*, Oba-Oba, Polar Explorer, Shock, Snake Machine, Speed Test, Titan, Vegas, Drakar, Cosmic, Fire Action, Rally, Cavaliero Negro, Sure Shot, Gemini 2000, Shark, Zarza, Fire Action Deluxe, Hawkman, Vortex
