Replay Adjustment - Stern Whitestar Modified

The procedure to adjust replay levels on Stern Whitestar Modified tables

Here is the procedure to reset replay levels on Stern tables with the Stern Whitestar Modified system. 
 
1. Press 7 to enter the service portal menu
 
2. Press the right shift key twice to move the cursor to the adjustment selection (wrench icon)
 
 
  • 3. Press 1 key to enter adjustments menu
 
4. With the cursor on the pinball icon, press 1 to enter Stern adjustments menu
 
5. The first item you should see is replay type.  The default is auto.  To change this, use the right flipper and move it to either the ‘+’ icon or ‘-‘ icon to change the value.  Press the 1 key to change the value.  Values available are auto, dynamic, none or fixed.
 
6. When you set that value to what you want, use the left shift key to move the cursor to the right arrow icon (>>) and press 1 to go to the next option.  If you changed this value, you should see a request accepted message flashing at the top of the DMD until you see the next option.
 
7. The option you should see is replay percentage.  The default is 10%.  To change this value, use the right shift key to move the cursor to the ‘+’ icon to raise the value, or to the ‘-‘ icon to lower the value.  Then press the 1 key to change the value.  Value can range between 1-50%.
 
8. When you set the value to what you want, use the left shift key to move the cursor to the right arrow icon (>>) and press the 1 key to go to the next option. If you changed this value, you should see a request accepted message flashing at the top of the DMD until you see the next option.
 
9. The option you should see is replay award.  The default is credit.  To change this value, use the right shift key to move the cursor to the ‘+’ or ‘-‘ icon to change the value.  Press the 1 key to change the value.  Values available are credit, ticket, token, extra ball.
 
10. When you set the value to what you want, use the left shift key to move the cursor to the right arrow icon (>>) and press the 1 key to go to the next option. If you changed this value, you should see a request accepted message flashing at the top of the DMD until you see the next option.
 
11. The option you should see is the number of replay levels.  The default is 1. To change this value, use the right shift key to move the cursor to the ‘+’ or ‘-‘ icon to change the value.  Press the 1 key to change the value.  Value can range from 1 to 4.
 
12. When you set the value to what you want, use the left shift key to move the cursor to the right arrow icon (>>) and press the 1 key to go to the next option. If you changed this value, you should see a request accepted message flashing at the top of the DMD until you see the next option.
 
13. The option you should see is the first replay level.  To change this value, use the right shift key to move the cursor to the ‘+’ icon to raise the value, or to the ‘-‘ icon to lower the value.  Press 1 to change the value.  The value will change by 1,000,000 points per press of the key. 
 
 
(NOTE: If you have set the value in the previous step to more than 1, then after setting this replay value to the score you want, use the left shift key to move the cursor back to the right arrow icon then press 1 to go to the next replay level, then repeat step 13 for the next replay level,  Do this for each replay level desired)
 
14. To exit the menu system, use the right shift key to move the cursor to the “QUIT” icon, and press the 1 key to exit.
