Here is the procedure to reset the replay levels on Gottlieb System 3 Alpha-Numeric tables. These were the last Gottlieb tables produced before they went to the DMD systems with their System 3 tables.
For Auto Replays:
1. Press 7 to enter diagnostic mode.
2. Press Left Shift key to enter adjustments mode. You should see the first replay level in the lower half of the alpha-numeric display.
3. Using the left and right shift keys, adjust the replay level to the score you wish to set it to. Left Shift key decreases the score by 100,000 points, Right Shift key raises the score by 100,000 points per press of the key.
4. Press 7 key to see second replay level on/off.
5. Using the shift keys, change this setting to either on or off.
6. Press 7 to see third replay level on/off
7. Repeat step 6 to set to on/off.
8. Press 7 to see high game to date.
9. Using the shift keys, adjust the high score to date. Left Shift key decreases the score by 1,000,000 points, Right Shift key increases the score by 1,000,000 per press of the key.
10. Press F3 to save changes and reset the table.
For Fixed Replays:
1. Press 7 to enter diagnostic mode
2. Press Left Shift Key to enter adjustments mode. You should see the first replay level in the lower half of the alpha-numeric display.
3. Continue to press 7 until you see auto percentage.
4. Press Left Shift Key to turn this setting to off for fixed replays.
5. Continue to press 7 until you see the first replay level again.
6. Using the shift keys, adjust the replay level to the score you wish to set it to. Left Shift Key decreases the score by 100,000 points, Right Shift Key increases the score by 100,000 per press of the key.
7. Press 7 to see second replay level
8. Repeat step 6 to set second replay level.
9. Press 7 to see third replay level.
10. Repeat step 6 to set the third replay level.
11. Press 7 to see high game to date.
12. Using the shift keys, adjust the high score to date. Left Shift key decreases the score by 1,000,000 points, Right Shift key increases the score by 1,000,000 per press of the key.
13. Press 7 to see second high game to date.
14. Repeat step 11 to set second high game to date.
15. Press 7 to see third high game to date
16. Repeat step 11 to set third high game to date
17. Press 7 to see fourth high game to date.
18. Repeat step 11 to set fourth high game to date.
19. Press 7 to see fifth high game to date.
20. Repeat step 11 to set fifth high game to date
21. Press F3 to save changes and reset the table.
