Replay Adjustment - Gottlieb System 80B

Procedure to adjust replay levels on Gottlieb System 80B tables

Posted by ta2686 on Apr 17 2013 09:25 PM
Here is the procedure for setting replay levels for Gottlieb System80B tables:

1. Make sure Dip Switch 8 is set to off (disabled).  That can be set via Inkochnito’s menu form.  (For those tables that do not have that form incorporated into it, download Inkochnito’s menu forms for Gottlieb System80Bs and place the default menu form into the table)  Please note that not all System80B manuals have denoted this switch for this function but for others, but generically for these tables, through the tests I have done, this seems to be the case.

2. Press 7 to enter adjustment menu.

3. Continue to press 7 until you see the menu item for replay percentage.  Set this to off.

4. Press 7 again to see the first replay level.

5. Press and release the 1 key to zero out the score currently stored there. (You many already have a zero score there, but you still must perform this step)

6. Press and hold the 1 key until you reach the score you wish to set it to.  The score will increment by 100,000 points while holding in the 1 key.

7. When you reach the score you want, release the 1 key.  (NOTE: If you pass the score you want to set it to, release the 1 key, wait a few seconds, then press and release the 1 key to zero the score out then press and hold the 1 key until you reach the score desired)

8. Press 7 to go to the second replay level.

9. Repeat steps 5 through 7 to set the second replay level.

10. Press 7 to go to the third replay level.

11. Repeat steps 5 through 7 to set the third replay level.

12. Press 7 to go to the high game to date.

13. Repeat steps 5 through 7 to set the high game to date.

14. Press F3 to save your changes and reset the table.

(NOTE:  If you want to disable a replay level, set it to zero.  You can not disable the high game to date however)

This procedure should work for the following tables:

Gottlieb System80B Tables:

Triple Play, Bounty Hunter, Tag-Team Pinball, Rock, Raven, Hollywood Heat, Genesis, Gold Wings, Monte Carlo, Spring Break, Arena, Victory, Diamond Lady, TX-Sector, Robo-War, Bad Girls, Excalibur, Big House, Hot Shots, Bone Busters Inc

My thanks to Inkochnito for providing me with some of the System80B manual information.  My thanks to him also for providing the community with his dip switch menu forms for the early solid state tables.
