Replay Adjustment - Data East Second Generation Alpha

Procedure to adjust replay levels on Second Generation Data East Alpha tables

Here is the procedure to reset the replay levels on Second Generation Data East Alpha tables. These tables have subtle variations from their first generation counterparts.
 
1. Press 7 to enter audits/adjustments mode.
 
2. Continue to press 7 until you see Ad 01 in the third player display (first and second player displays will show either REPLAY MANUAL or AUTO REPLAY)
 
3. Adjust the auto replay percentage by using the 1 key to either raise or lower the replay percentage, or to turn it off to use fixed replays.
 
(NOTE: To decrease the replay percentage easier, press 8 before you press 1. Remember that before you go to the next adjustment, press 8 before you press 7 if you had pressed 8 before) Replay percentage can be set between 1%-50%
 
4. Press 7 to go to the next adjustment. The next steps will depend upon whether you chose Auto Replays or Fixed Replays.
 
For Auto Replays:
 
5. Press the 1 key to adjust the first replay level. Replay levels will chnage by 100,000 while pressing the 1 key, and can range between 800,000 and 2,400,000. (NOTE: To lower the score, press 8 before pressing 1. Remember to press 8 again before pressing 7 to go to the next adjustment)
 
6. Press 7 to go to next adjustment.
 
7. Press 1 change the number of auto replay levels (can range from 1 through 4) Skip down to the High Game to Date section.
 
For Fixed Replays:
 
5. Press the 1 key to adjust the first replay level (NOTE: To lower the score from the current level, press 8 before you press the 1 key. Remember to press 8 before you press 7 to go to the next adjustment) Replay level score can range between 100,000 and 9,900,000 and will change by 100,000 while pressing the 1 key.
 
6. Press 7 to go to the next adjustment.
 
7. Repeat step 5 to set the second replay level.
 
8. Press 7 to go to the next adjustment.
 
9. Repeat step 5 to set the third replay level.
 
10. Press 7 to go to the next adjustment.
 
11. Repeat step 5 to set the fourth replay level.
 
NOTE: To disable a replay level, set the replay level to OFF.
 
High Game to Date Section:
 
12. Continue to press 7 until you see Expand Adjusts in the first two player displays.
 
13. Press 1 to change this to ON.
 
14. Press 7 to go to the next adjustment.
 
15. Continue to press 7 until you see BACKUP HI SCR 1 in the first two player displays.
 
16. Adjust the first high score using the 1 key.
 
(NOTE: TO lower the score currently set, press 8 before pressing the 1 key. Remember to press 8 before pressing 7 to go to the next adjustment) Score will adjust by 100,000 while pressing the 1 key and can range from 100,000 to 9,900,000.
 
17. Press 7 to go to the next adjustment.
 
18. Repeat step 16 to adjust the second backup high score.
 
19. Press 7 to go to the next adjustment.
 
20. Repeat step 16 to adjust the third backup high score.
 
21. Press 7 to go to the next adjustment.
 
22. Repeat step 16 to adjust the fourth backup high score.
 
(NOTE: To disable a high score to date level, set that level to zero)
 
(NOTE: To install the new high scores, press 8, then press 7 until you see HI SCORE RESET in the first two player displays. Press 1 to set this switch to ON)
 
23. Press F3 to save changes and reset the table.
