Time Warp Williams
This is my first table release and even though there were earlier versions of this table I wanted to start from scratch to learn VP. I own a real Time Warp machine so all the artwork and plastics were created from photographs of my actual machine. I also recorded real sounds from the machine for any sounds not provided by the roms.
I created this desktop version and I also uploaded a full screen version containing a dB2S backglass.
I really wanted to have banana flippers but I'm not sure how to get them into the table and functioning properly. I have the banana flipper models from the Future Pinball version I did of this table if anyone wants to help get them added to the table.
I started with a blank table and used all my original artwork. I did a lot of inspecting of the Gorgar table to figure out how to do the bumpers and plunger since it was also from Williams about the same time period and had a lot of similar elements. I had everything done in October 2013 except for converting my desktop version to full screen but I got side tracked with another software project. So I don't remember exactly what parts of the script I borrowed but I believe it was for the plunger and fading lights and maybe a couple other items. Those script snippets probably came from the Gorgar table but the comments in the script should provide credit where those snippets originated.
I liked the lighting I saw in Gorgar and other tables so I tried to recreate something similar by making the table darker and having areas near the bulbs lit up. I spent time making the lights and shadows near the targets look realistic. To create the lighting effects I actually used the B2S Designer to add lighting to the table graphic and then captured screenshots for the lighting bitmaps.
I developed it in VP 9.1.5 last year but I've also tested it in VP 9.9.0.
