Full installer for Visual Pinball v9.9.1. This will associate all VPT files with VPinball991.exe.
Please take a look at https://github.com/c...e-Upgrade-Guide for some additional help with problematic VP 9.2.1 (or lower) tables (and more).
In case your setup cannot handle VP 9.9.1 properly for whatever reason, please download VP 9.9.0 or even VP 9.2.1 instead (which was the last release still based on DirectX 7).

What's New in Version 9.9.1 (See full changelog)
- - fixed some memory leaks
- - fixed rendering of overlapping balls
- - include optional nudge filtering (selectable in the keys dialog)
- and remove implicit dead zone handling (if you have the dead zone setting at 0% and now experience problems, set it to at least 1%)
- - native support for the Pinscape Controller
- - script editor updated to use latest scintilla (3.5.1)
I seem to have a problem after installing 9.9. I can run tables that were buggy before, but now I can't stick the DMD to the backglass anymore.... I have a 2 display cab, using the cab version on vpinmame 25, and display in vpinmame is set to default. The dmd lines in table scripts are commented out as well. They stuck before but do not now... I also know to "shake 'n' stick" so that's not it.... Any ideas? Also. ... Kick Ass software guys! I rarely use my MAME cab now lol Thanks in advance, and happy pinning!
Sorry, you can erase this... just saw the support topic

This would have been my first time trying Visual Pinball. I was quite excited, after much comparison research I heard it had the most realistic physics.
Went to install the msi, and after agreeing to the terms of service, it completely froze my whole system. Could not even do ctrl+alt+delete or ctrl+shift+esc. Had to just cut power. Guess I won't be playing any visual pinball.
System is AMD Phenom black 965 3.4Ghz quad core, nvidia gtx660, 12GB ram, fully updated windows 8.1.
windows 8.1 is the issue
Thank You
version 9.9.0a runs ok but version 9.9.1 exe always crash with a Stop working message
Windows 8.1
Any ideas? Have used run as admin and/or compatibility mode. Always crash when loading a table.
edit: got it working, updated vpinmame.dll to 2.6 thanks!
VP 9.9.1. does not work properly on my laptop. Decals do not show.
