*Thank you JP Salas for giving me permission to mod this table of yours. All credit goes to JP. Modding this table made me appreciate this table so much more.
**Thank you to Teppotee and JimmyFingers. On the new 3-Way GI, the default settings are White (ON) and Red (OFF). Play it first without changing anything, so you can see whats happening.

What's New in Version 3.5 (See full changelog)

  • Version 3.5
  • Teppotee reworked the lighting to make it work with VP9.2 Big thanks!!! He really helped me on this because i couldn't figure some things out, and he saved me alot of time.
  • I then changed the layback/xy settings, and had to add one more wall to the left side to hide flasher artifacts. I did a minor physics tweak.
  • Version 3.1
  • I increased the size/shape of the strobe light. It's more dramatic and intensive.
  • I changed the red wire metal ramps to dark green/yellow. I was getting tired of the red myself...lol
  • Version 3.0
  • My friend Teppotee has added JimmyFingers' "Ball Movement Physics Routine (BMPR)" and "Flipper Dampening Routine" to this mod. He also made an optional GI lighting that the player can choose just by simply changing a number in the script. You can choose from White, Red, Green, or Off.
  • I reworked plastics/playfield/lighting/ images again to compliment this above change.
  • Ramps are now matching red.
  • I made all center UFO images .png transparent from former .bmp images. This has reduced distortion around/near it.
  • Other minor things.
  • v2.2
  • Changed alpha ramp flashers
  • -checked off "normal 3D Stereo"
  • (this was causing flashers to have nasty side effects and unnecessary ball stutter. I suggest turning on Region Optimization in video settings of VP editor).
  • v2.1 (small update)
  • Changed all alpha ramp flashers to "additive bi"
  • Updated apron
  • Tweaked physics a little.
  • v2.0
  • Changed the flag of ENGLAND. (per forum members request)
  • Made playfield images darker.
  • Reorganized alpha ramps.
  • Changed table slope (6.5 to 7.5)

Multiple post, sorry!

Thanks Aaron--my fav table !

Hmm, not sure if I like that physics tweak. The ball has a really strong urge to drain :) Sometimes the ball hits the flipper at 90° then doesnt bounce at all, just rolls towards the drain. I guess I liked the previous better ^^

wahou, very very good job

Table loads great and looks fantastic, I'm excited to play, but I can't get the DMD to load.  I have a full cabinet with a 3rd screen for DMD... but I get nothing.  I've tried the usual suspects for dmd adjustments like hidden, rotation, etc... probably has nothing to do with the mod of the table... but I really want to get this to work as I LOVE this table and really want an updated mod.  Any advise?

Edit: Embarrassing fact... make sure you've actually updated VirtuaPin to 9.2 before you expect 9.2 tables to fully work.

Great update

WOW!  thanks best afm out there
