I reached out to Dutchman. Hopefully he has some tips or even images to share from his UVP that may help you.
In this new version I have used two flashes linked to motor solenoid. My today effort was make the lights close to original pinball, but I have created also the fantasy version (better IMHO).
I posted that before I saw your latest. It doesn't hurt to ask dutch. I'm trying your new versions now. Thanks again.

this backglass image now has required a week of work and remastered to 20%
is a month that work on this project especially at the 'animation of teleportation difficult thing to do.
not a criticism mind you, but a backglass that all the builders of the project directb2s try to make wonderful, start by meticulous care of the image that takes hours and hours of work with graphic programs
ps the stupid things I've written on the glass are a joke!!!!!
