Download VP Save Editor

This is a tool to modify the VPREG.STG file. VPREG.STG is located in the user folder of your visual pinball installation.
VPREG.STG allows table authors to save and retrieve data easily during a game like high scores, number of credits, ball locations, or any other purpose.
If a table file saves data that prevents the table from properly initializing later, use this to delete or correct the entry.

I don't know why this link have been reported as broken. I have downloaded this without any problem. Maybe the reporter got problems with his/her own Internet connection.

It is ok for me despite of the forum pages are a bit slow to display.

I, erm, may have reported this as broken "some time ago". I have since worked out that the timeout for accessing the files is rather short, and the system cannot find the file because the encrypted filename is no longer available/the table with the decoding to find the correct file has already been released from memory. This I would imagine, is to stop those of us who open new tabs for things we are after, only to batch download them one by one, upon opening the new tab, the file is available, but after a small time window, the file is not, hence the 'file is unavailable' message.

I'm sure this program is clean, but has anyone else had their antivirus program identify this as a trojan?

For anybody reading this and afraid of the anti-virus message, this likely happens because this program uses a compression utility called UPX. The program VPSaveEdit.exe is in fact, a program that unzips another program (the real editor) and runs it so you think you just ran the real editor. Some anti-viruses don't like that sort of thing.

To put your mind at ease, you can download from UPX from Github (search for UPX The Ultimate Packer for eXecutables) and use it to decompress VPSaveEdit.exe, which will result in a new VPSaveEdit.exe that's not compressed and which the anti-virus should not find fishy.
