Manufacturer: Williams Electronic Games, Incorporated, a subsidiary of WMS Ind.,
Incorporated (1985-1999) [Trade Name: Williams]
Model Number: 542
Common Abbreviations: RK
MPU: Williams System 11
Type: Solid State Electronic (SS)
Production: 5,500 units (confirmed)
Theme: Apocalyptic - Motorcycles
Notable Features: Flippers (2), Pop bumpers (4), Kick-out holes (3), Drop target (1). Entrance to center ramp is blocked by the drop target. Once drop target is lowered, the ball reaches the center ramp by looping upwards along a track to a simple redirect mechanism that routes the ball alternately to the center-left or center-right ramp outlets. Upper ramp lowers to allow ball to access it and reach a kick-out hole. When ball is locked in kick-out hole, this ramp elevates to allow ball to roll underneath it to reach the first switch in the mega-score switch series.
Design by: Mark Ritchie

Notes: According to The Pinball Compendium 1982 to Present, this game started out with three other names and two other themes, as "Samurai", "High Noon", and "Gunslinger". Designer Mark Ritchie chose a new theme based on the "Mad Max" movies of the preceding years.
Marketing Slogans: "Burnin' up the charts!"

Totally incredible, I have been waiting nearly 25 years to be able to play this game again, totally forgot about the "We'll be Back, Jack"
~THANKS ALOT!!!
Right outlane drains more frequently after launch than I'd like, and flipper action is weird, but good job overall. Mega Score definitely makes you feel like you've earned it and Chris Granner's music is so good. I can totally see Steve Ritchie as a dystopian future biker.

Fun table. Right outlane drains more frequently on the real table too.

Made the following flipper changes: Speed 0.4, Strength 0.22, RS 0.25, PL 1.5, OC 4.3

Table Slope set to 6.7, Gravity Constant 1.6667, Contact Friction 0.0035

Then a host of speed changes for kickers and the plunger to compensate for the gravity change.

Optionally to help prevent some of those nasty right outlane drains, you can add high slingshot force(35+) and scatter angle(0.8+) values to the post rubbers above each outlane wall.

Multi-ball tends to be brief unless you can master either backhanding with the left flipper into the upper left lock, or very quickly getting a ball into the lower right lock.
