For a long time this was my one remaining VP9 table in my collection until finding this dusty VPX version in the archives. Love the table, such a fun and simple concept that keeps me coming back for more! I reached out to 32assassin and mfuegemann for permission to modify it. Being essentially a 3:4 ratio table, I prefer circles to ovals and filled in the remaining space with a marquee frame to display the logos of your favorite bubbly beverages. Who doesn't love a custom six pack? The plunger button, otherwise unused in this table will now switch images and playfields to reflect your six beverages of choice. I included 34 logos of mainstream brews and personal favorites to choose from, and adding your own will be easy. At the top of the script you simply type in the names between the quotation marks. Whatever you type has to be spelled exactly as the image is titled in the image manager. You also have to choose the liquid colors, either gold, brown, or black for the stout and porter fans out there! If using the flex display, the game will crash if a title isn't spelled correctly.
Other than that, I had to clean up a ton of transparency related artifacts, cleaned up the digits a bit, and added a flex display which shows the same beer logos in pixelated glory. I am still pondering whether to do more with the flex, and whether to mess with a backglass, but the existing one works just fine. Big thanks for allowing me to mod!
If you're like me and added arcade joysticks to your table, it is much more fun to use those, but otherwise you control the bar with flippers and magnasaves. For what I tried, I could not map the joystick input to VPX controls. Mapping buttons works just fine, but not gamepad or axis inputs, but I installed joy2key and it works just fine, allowing me to map my sticks to the same keyboard commands that move flippers and magnasaves.

Finally got a copy of this table that I can use. Thanks.
I swapped out the right and left nudge keys for this, instead of magasaves. I think it will work better for me.
Love the theme! Yuengling and Iron City! wow, taking me back to my days in the 'burgh! Now I just need to learn how to add some Rolling Rock to make it complete.
The only problem I'm having is that the play table is completely black. I can see the ball, the bar that moves up, and the outline of the table, but everything in the middle is black.
I verified that I have a number (1 to 3) associated with each beer in my 6-pack for the appropriate color, but my pint is empty.
Any idea on what I might be doing wrong and how I can get a refill?
Thank you!
I like this, makes a change from all the flipping, very hard though !

I can't recreate your error. If you entered the wrong number for beer color the page would be plain white, not black. Black is the color under the playfield and all I can think is maybe the playfield was accidentally deleted? I just uploaded a locked version, maybe try that? PM me with any further info with the error.
Some people mentioned themes, how do you change the beer company theme?

I changed leftmagnasave and rightmagnasave to lefttiltkey and righttiltkey but I am getting bad behaviour. when using my nudge keys the bar only goes down a tiny bit, even when I hold it down. The up flipper keys work as expected. How did you do it?
To change the beers, open up the script. At the top there are lines for beer1 = "ICB" or whatever. Just type in the name you want from the list in the script. If you want a logo that's not there, you need to download a logo image, open the table in vpx, open image manager, import the new image, and then type in the script beer1(any number 1-6)="image title here"

There were two spots for each (4) change (8 total changes).
Approx lines 840-871 and then 910-941 (my line number might differ from you because I commented out the original command and added a new line for the nudge buttons).

Hi endeemillr,
thank You for uploading this mod. I do especially love the Guinness theme. Maybe You could add a Kilkenny logo with the root beer theme?
Regards
Michael
