Based on the table by SPinball from 1996.

This VPX8 table is a rebuild from scratch, but many 3D objects are from the old table by freneticamnesic & gtxjoe. Also most of the graphics are from that table too, although I increased the resolution of the graphics and added a few new graphics..

This table was made as a special request by akiles50000, and it was possible thanks to his pictures.

Thanks to pedator and akiles50000 for testing the table.

What's New in Version 6.0.0 (See full changelog)

  • 6.0.0 Updated September 2025
  • - Moved LUT to User Options (F12)
  • - Added some extra options to the User Options (F12)
  • - Updated physics to my latest rev 4.3.1. mostly bouncier rubbers and harder flippers.
  • 5.5.0 Updated 15.12.2024
  • - New playfield mesh to avoid the ball getting stuck on top of the flippers.
  • - Fixed my ball spin control, which were too aggressive, and it killed the ball's acceleration, making the ball too slow, getting stuck on ramps, and also being unable to climb the ramps on many tables.
  • 5.0.0 Updated 28.05.2024
  • - Updated for VPX8 release version (adjusted reflections & lights)
  • - added a screenshot for scutters file explorer handler
  • 1.0.0 Released 14.01.2024

It started working after second start. Flipper decals not movin (on AMD RX480 graphic card). The rest seems OK.

Are you using vpinball v10.8?

Thanks JP.    You made this table fun to play.    The old version was fun but better now.

Thanks for the table!

Hello,

Very nice table, thank you so much.

Just one thing : i have read how to adjust the volume but it doesn't work.

Can you explain again how to do it ? Thank's !

I was unaware of this table and stunned by its quality from the nice DMD animations, a packed playfield with toys that impact the gameplay , an enjoyable layout and interesting rules with multiball included.

Like the the Jules Vernes theme too.

But...the art is atrocious ! the "toys" from the submarine, the volcano and the mountain with octopus looks ultra cheap plastic to me.

and the worst looking apron i know of IMO (the bottom wall of the cabinet is not good too)

In a much lesser degree i dislike the the plain targets, the black flippers and original spinners too.

The rest of the playfield art is ok :)

I took a look at the real table and it does not come from your vpx conversion which is awesome physics included.

Thank you for your great work, i see a huge potential for a re-skin of the arts/toys of this game (only a graphics upgrade keeping the same theme, layout and toy mechanics) as everyhting else is so far above your average table, especially for his age.

Beau travail

Fantastic board. How can I increase the music volume? I've managed to lower it with button 8 in the Volume section, but I can't seem to raise it. Could you tell me how I can increase the music volume?
