Has anyone else had problems after installing these fonts?  Once I did I noticed the fonts in Edge were looking goofy so I restarted the machine.  Since then I've repaired Edge, reset, re-registered, removed and re-installed and performed an in-place re-install of Windows 10.  I could live without Edge but the error is also blowing up windows search and the store. (I can't live without the store because Forza Horizon.)

The error is definately due to an access error in the fonts directory but so far I can't seem to nail down a fix.

Has anyone else run into this or something similar?

I found a solution in case anyone else runs into the same problem.  The specific error I got was with trying to open the segeoui.dll.  I ended up removing all of the seg*.* fonts by deleting them from the registry, deleting files, removing through Windows settings, etc.  Once they were all gone Edge started working (and the store and windows search) and I was able to re-install the seg*.* fonts from a set of default windows 10 fonts I found on the internet.  

My best advice to anyone who runs into it would be to try uninstalling the segeoui font through Windows Settings/Personalization and reboot.  If it works, google "Default Windows 10 Fonts Download" and you should be able to find the correct files.

This is really very basic, but it seems like a lot of people just don't know where to put their fonts.

Unzip into a temporary directory and then install them into the
C:\Windows\Fonts folder. If you unzip directly into the font folder you may have to reboot the computer before windows sees them.

With so many fonts in this download (more than 200) you ought to consider a font manager program to turn off these fonts when not working with or playing Visual Pinball. Too many fonts in the windows fonts folder can seriously slow down your machine.

Sure, it's basic. But I can count on two hands the number of times I've needed to install fonts on my pc, ever. Also, most video games that use special fonts don't require you to manually install them, including standalone programs like emulators.
