Well, here it is. its not the full thing, its no where near finished, but this is a huge milestone for me. This project I started july of 2022. This is my first attempt at coding, programing or digitally making, well, anything! I'm really excited for this. and I actually think the game layout is really fun.
To say I have no idea what I'm doing is, actually pretty accurate. Looking at stuff other people made and trying to learn off of them seems to be working though, each time I got something to work I got very, very excited. Ill try my best to finish this completely, I don't think I will be able to do it on my own however. Any encouragement, suggestions. or feedback is greatly appreciated.
If you do end up looking at my script, I hope you aren't disgusted on how messy it is though XD
I'm making this public because of a few people already interested in this, If you encounter any bugs or things that aren't up to par please feel free to let me know. I also wrote a copy of the ruleset I had in mind for this game which are in the previous versions.
And hey, thanks for taking the time to come look at this. I really appreciate it. If it goes well then eventually, I might even want to homebrew this thing (currently attempting.)

What's New in Version v0.13 (See full changelog)
- switched upload from vp9.x to vpx ^^;;
- 2/10/23 added a tiny more stuff, still trying to get the hang of this.
- 2/27/2023 nearly all sounds, callouts and music are atleast added into the table files. (tried) fixing a few glitches and smoothing things out
- 9/19/2023 I Redid the entire table from scratch AAAAA! This time it has actually correct sizing, layout has been cleaned out and is more realistic, slightly better base code even though its now missing everything from the previous versions. but its better now. and it will serve as help as i try to homebrew this.
I'm just now DL'ing this and normally avoid WIP tables but it looks great for not knowing what you're doing. But you learn best by doing it so I'm glad to read you're getting back at it. The Persona series is cool AF so there's plenty of fans that'd love to play this as well. As someone who's struggling to finish mastering 5 albums of music, it's hard stop messing with little details delaying the release but keep at it till it's done then move on. Finishing a big project is a great feeling. Now I'm gonna go look in the mirror and give myself the same advice. HAHAHAAAA!
thank you! I think i may have gotten too ambitious with my project though. Im currently going back to college in robotics just for the sake of getting this homebrewed irl. and while i still have no idea how to program for gameplay and stuff. im very excited in getting the base table to work very well.

i have now updated the base table. its a step back but it was necessary while i was redoing the table, it is much more realistic in its functions, previous files will be available as well

Can you on a next release update the table metadata? The table name is still "Visual Pinball Demo Table". (Not the only table with that name )

I actually want to code the game in mpf just so i can also use it in my physical homebrew, im not sure if mpf can actually transfer to vpx though, any thoughts?

I finally want to give this a official update after all these years, its still in progress and really far ahead. i dont have any working files to update as a package yet but once i do ill make another update for it. demo v2.
