My view of "Spirit of 76": I have never seen the game in real. But after Far Out and Fast Draw this game game is not very inspired. But a solid EM fun anyway.
Here I offer you my version 1.0a with these improvements:
° game
- new game physics, cab optimized
- new POV
- all object sounds in operation
- drop target shield protects the targets from falling when hit from the side
- new timing for ball release after bonus count end and rotator stopped
- new ball position and plunger sounds in the plunger lane
- outer bumpers wired in parallel
- new material assignment for better appearance
- slight layout changes in order to reduce ball lost
- many new sounds
- kicker hole accessibility improved
° back glass
- score wheels now with rotation
- all illuminations as close as possible to the original game
- new fonts for the light messages
- new light control according to the original game
° zip contains game, BG and pics for cab users
All this in kind tribute to Jeff Whitehead

Plays just like the Original Spirit of 76 I once had.
I Remember the Bonus Countdown a little bit faster, but thats it. Ball behaves like i have in memory.
I miss my Spirit of 76.
Well done, Mustang!
