Avago present to you the Time Lord pinball game. Our objective was to make a game that looked good, played great and was fun to play. Hopefully we have achieved that but ....Time will tell😁. The Backglass, VPX game, wheel & rules are include this download and a game instruction video available here on Youtube. https://youtu.be/2HrowxmZe58
You require VPX10.7, Freezy and Flex DMD to run run this game. No ROM is required.
The game is built on a JP Salas game framework using Darks DMD and flashes. It has been a great pleasure to work with JP to produce a game that plays like a great JP Salas inspired table should. Gedankekojote97 applied the latest nFozzy/Roth physics, Fleep sounds, luts, and ramp textures to what we thought was fun game and make it so much better than we ever imagined.
The Game
The game is based on a story by HP about an evil imposter who has set himself up as the Time Lord by assassinating the the Master of Time, stealing the throne and banishing Q-man the rightful heir of time, to the far reaches of the galaxy. In the game you must complete 5 tasks to defeat the evil imposter TimeLord and restore Q-Man's position as the true Lord of Time. During gameplay  table graphics change, rotating planets appear, dragons eyes follow your every move, rotating clocks can suddenly change direction which are all very nice buuuuut, poor shot selection will be greeted by let's say with commentary by a less than complimentary robot. This game was built for fun and the callouts are a highlight of the game. The ultimate goal of the game is to complete the 5 tasks and the reward is a whole new playfield. The glory table  will appear for 60 seconds and you have an opportunity to make glory billions via the the centre spiral ramp.
Table influences
The current version is third 3rd generation & 2 years in the making so many influences can be seen as this table has evolved.
Seeing  JP's  scripting in Serious Sam was the turning point and his generosity and support to use his ideas and help with the final scripting has made this game possible.
Scotty Wickburgh is also huge influence on this game and you will recognise some of his ideas in rotating bumper caps and a captive ball spinner. Other influences you may notice include the TOTAN style ramps (They were the first objects on the table and remained till the end), the Shovel Knight lifting ramp ramp for ball locks by Wiz and the plunger lane style ramp from Bride of Pinbot. All of these have a Time Lord twist to suit the the timelord gameplay and story.
The Avago Team are
JP Salas- Game framework, playfield objects , testing & final scripting
Gedankekojote97- nFozzy/Roth physics, Fleep sounds, Luts, Ramp textures & dynamic ball shadows
Crackers & Mozzie- Table production team and testing
RusstyT- Table graphics, scripting, callouts and table design

Thankyou for the feedback. I'm glad you like it and I hope you get to the glory table.

thank you for your very kind review and that you dug into the game. There are lots of hidden treasure that unravel in the game the deeper you go into it.

This table looks so wonderful!  If only I could get the DMD to show.  DMD works on almost all other tables I've tried.  I have all the DMD things installed, freezy, flex, ultra, any dmd thing I can think of.  Shoot, many of the tables will give me TWO dmds to work with, and I just pick whichever I want.  With this I have no idea.  Tried looking at the code....that was no help.  I'm so frustrated.  I really want this table to work.  I've even done the alt tab thing to see if it shows up anywhere and nothing.

That's frustrating Bugzzy. Im not familiar with your set up and what you mean by a choice of two DMDs. Do you mean a choice between Ultra DMD & Flex DMD you are referring to, or DMDS in different locations. Im not familiar with that DMD flexibility and this game was not built for Ultra DMD. (I don't run Ultra DMD and I don't have issues running PUP Pacs with FlexDMD) It would be worth while asking a question to the VPForum community for some DMD help.

If you are interested these are a couple of things I'd do.

VPX10.7 setup. This is the link to the latest stable 10.7.1Beta

https://github.com/v...inball/releases

Download both the 'winX-64 and 'winX-86 versions and you will get 2 folders VPinballX-10-3 and VPinballX-10_4. From these take the Bass64.dll and Bass.dll files and replace the ones in in your VPinMame folder. Also replace the VPinballX file with the one from the 'winx86 download. Make sure you keep a back of the files you replace so you can revert if something goes wrong.

I'd also run the Flex DMD tool again to make sure that It can access all the required information.

Thats all I can think of apart from a conflict with the ultra dmd and flex dmd executable files, (dmd.dll  and the like). We seem to collect so many of them with updates and to save confusion and conflicts on my machine I got rid of ultra DMD. Best you ask someone who knows more than me and Im sure they have seen this issue before or something similar

VERY VERY COOL!!! THank you I love playing and seeing new originals!

RusstyT.  For most tables, when DMD is working I get ultraDMD and...some other one, and I dont' really know where it comes from.  I will DEFINITELY try your recommended steps, as I have not tried that.  This whole thing is very confusing.  I'm older.  I struggle with the file management portions of things.  But I'm getting some progress overall with the process.  Every time I figure something out I get so happy.  Then something else crops up.  As for running FlexDMD tool again, I have definitely done that, and get all green checkmarks down the list.

I hear you. I get in that situation as wel & I have duplicated files and files sitting in Visual pinball and VPinMame as a legacy of years gone by. I I disconnected my cab from the internet to stop windows update which were causing me grief and removed Ultra DMD when Flex DMD became available. It uses the whole colour spectrum and runs very stable.

This is my VPInMame setup. With respect to your issue I think you have conflict with the DmdDevice.dll,DmdDevice .ini & DmdDevice64.dll. You have have duplicates of these for both freezy & ultra. To run both at the same time sounds rather unusual. If it was me Id backup what you see below upload the latest version of freezy, remove all the files with the DmdDevice.dll,Dmd Device64.dll and Dmd .ini, replace them with freezy and set it up. You may have to run the FlexDmd setup again and make sure you get the 4 green ticks. If worse come s to worse you can copy and paste your backup back into VPinMame.nAlternatively if this doesn't work out Id ask a question to the gurus and they'll advice you. I am no expert on this issue but hope this helps.
