Initial announcement from Jeff:
VPX conversion
Artwork done by GNance

in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" as another coin input and "4" for coin and auto-start game (like I recall the dime slots generally were) to simulate 3 coin slots
when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option.
I've also included shadows for the ball and flippers. If you want to turn them off look for these lines at the beginning of the script:
Const ShadowFlippersOn = true
Const ShadowBallOn = true
change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables
This game was my 1st intensive contact with pinball games, I loved playing it. I estimate my age with about 13 years, the machine was located in a pub right across the street where I lived. Underage playing was strictly forbidden in Germany, but the pub operator said "if we have a control, I'll delcare you as my son".
Here I offer you "my"
Version 1.0b
- new physic (cab optimized),
- slight layout change -> reduces ball losses between the flipper fingers and outer side lanes
- many new sounds e.g. both gates and both stand up targets
- rolling ball sound level adjusted
- new material assignments for metal sheets - better appearance
- improved ball and ball position in the plunger lane
- the bumper trigger is now in colored plastic
- new timing for ball release - now after player up alternator ends
- added rails at inner side outlanes to avoid friction with the sling shot rubbers
- new POV for cab use
- in game over state the plastics illumination stays on (the original behavior of all Gottlieb EMs)
Version 1.0b2
- as suggested by mopebe I tried to get more dancing effect for the ball-bumper - system, I think it is better now, a stronger effect appears artificial
- added the ballmass command from JPSalas, more natural move of the ball
- changed the BG to rolling reels
- added 10 bulbs per player for a more natural reel illumination
- when the game is switched on and in game over state all players score reels are now illuminated
Version 1.0c enrichment made by Leeoneil are:
- I've made my visual update (shadows, lights, plastics)
- I corrected the DOF (old code)
- I added lot's of SSF command
- I change the ball rolling and the ball image
All this in kind tribute to Jeff Whitehead.

Are you an EM player in real life? Physics are pretty solid with this release, as well as Fast Draw. Putting both on the cab
Vielen Dank für diese hervorragende Arbeit. Der Tisch kommt der Wirklichkeit sehr nah! Da werden Erinnerungen wach.
Just had a chance to try this, and visually, it's a really nice improvement, but the physics changes seem really off. Way too much of the bounciness has been tamped down. The most noticeable thing is when the ball hits the top corner of one of the slings, it just kinda stops dead and falls down to the flippers. Shouldn't be doing that.
Thanks to all involved!
The Loserman76 tables look so beautiful and play great with all your changes!
Thank you very much for this nice update! EMs are still my preferred machines ;-)
Another classic very good table for playing. Thank you!
having a problem with this game . when I run it it puts the highscore into player 2 score reel position. at this point I can not start a multi player game but single player works fine.
