Initial announcement from Jeff:
VPX conversion
Artwork done by GNance
others to thank: JPSalas, Pinuck, hauntfreaks, Borgdog, Arngrim
in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" as another coin input and "4" for coin and auto-start game (like I recall the dime slots generally were) to simulate 3 coin slots
when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option.
I've also included shadows for the ball and flippers. If you want to turn them off look for these lines at the beginning of the script:
Const ShadowFlippersOn = true
Const ShadowBallOn = true
change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables
Version 1.0b
- new sounds and added sounds e.g. when hitting a stand up target
- new game physic (cab optimized)
- improved ball rest position in shooter lane
- now all table options resets after change of player and the valid plateau- related options are lit (this was the main flaw in the previous version), I think it was the first game that memorizes and recalls different game statuses of each player. Difficult to realize that in EM technology and the reason that the game was made as two player, only.
- added mini post in side out lanes for improved game fun
- the bumper triggers are now in colored plastic
- the plastic cover at the top left in lane has now a material assignment
- new POV for cab use
- in game over state the plastics illumination stays on (the original behavior of all Gottlieb EMs)
- back glass score wheels' illuminations tuned
Version 1.0c
in the meantime I gained more experience, all is now in this update ...
°game
- outer bumpers are wired in parallel
- higher ball mass for a better pinball- feeling
- all object sounds in operation
- one flaw corrected- the lights over the 5 red targets return now to default state with each new ball
°BG
- turning score reels
- more bulbs for the score reels
- improved light control much closer to the original
°zip contains game, BG and pics for cab users
All this in kind tribute to Jeff Whitehead.

Thanks for posting. This plays great, definitely an improvement in game play. I think I prefer this over Bord's MOD... if I could pic two things to pull over from his it would be the warmer lighting and the OG graphics on the stand up targets. Probably my go to 2 player EM game and it will get more play with your update... thank you.

Thank you for all the updates, and to the people who help in any way. Much appreciated!!!
Lovely great to see LM tables still being updated :-)
Thank you for some retro goodness.
Great job on this table. Some versions of this table are great fun to play when you don't want to work to hard. This on the other hand feels like the real machine, you can get the bonuses but you have to earn them. I couldn't believe (in a good way) how many times my ball went past the pop bumpers without firing them. Frustrating but realistic.
Having the goals reset properly between each player makes this a true two player competition. I like having both variations available depending on the audience. Thanks for your work. Now I need to go check out your other files.
Take care,
Brent
Excellent table! Thank you very much!
Anyone else finding that none of the playfield inserts ever light and give those score options ?
Same issue no lights on the playfield except targets at the top
