I fully understand your frustration at this, but why are you putting the entire community in the middle of this?  I don't see how anyone who commented above you would've known this was an unauthorized mod.

Yes, I 100% support airing this publicly since it's yet to be addressed.  Maybe I just don't understand what the "you people" comment was supposed to mean.  

I follow the rules of this website. Ain't no randr's rules no more. I consult about the rules when in doubt. The site where I found this table a few weeks ago had no strings and no info. And VPW and friends are as big a bunch of thieves as anyone. At least I give credit (by name) to previous contributors (see Hook).

I'm not quite sure why you're upset at or disparaging VPW, but to clarify, VPW always give credit where credit is due and have requested and as far as I'm aware have obtained permission from the original creators for each table released, and wherever possible involved them in the process.

As you bought up Hook, Javier (the original author) was personally involved in the Hook VPW remake, which was rebuilt over 6 months, and as far as I know practically everything on the table was replaced with new assets apart from Dark's primitives (the skull, the main ramp and the town).

Hook was also an interesting lesson learnt that it's sometimes better to start from scratch than try to fix something, but that is another story.

VPW Hook has a mirror on it which is my invention, a playfield that I sourced, edited with identifiable hand drawn areas plus backboard image, lights and stuff that I added to the table. It was made from my mod and you didn't have the decency to mention it. I still have your mod request in my mailbox. That's why I have no regard for your gang and supporters coming the high road with me. Fair enough?

Speaking as a clueless bystander, I'd like to say your tone and approach is much appreciated.  Thanks.

The mirror that I made for Hook is unique. It uses a single element, no images, lights, flashers or anything else. I spent a whole week, maybe 100 hours, pissing around with lights and reflections on the flupperdomes table, trying to make distant lights reflect on the backboard. It's not great, but it kinda works. Plus I discovered a whole bunch of other useful lighting tricks in the process. I'm not blacklisted anywhere that I'm aware. And for someone who has spent the last several years undermining this website to think they can just slide back in after their caliphate collapses and start preaching about manners, etiquette and respect, and expect to be taken seriously, is just hilarious. Think ISIS bride. So, whine and lie all you want - you won't get much sympathy here.

Oh, you might also want to check with your mates as to whether they'd like me to PROVE which Hook table they used for their mod. I suspect not.
