This table is a tribute to the Stern table from 2018. It will be soon 3 years since Stern released Deadpool, so it was time for a little tribute.

This is not a 100% replica of Stern's table or a ripoff of it, there are layout differences, graphic & sound differences, and most of all rules differences. Read the included manual, everything about the table is explained there.

If you are using a cabinet with an LCD screen for the DMD then there is one option at the top of the script to make it look better:
Const FlexDMDHighQuality = False which you can change to True and FlexDM will display at 256x64

Even if this is a very reduced version of Deadpool you may have fun with it, it has 7 battles, a lot of multiballs, combos, things to collect (Ninja Stars, Chimichangas and weapons) that will boost your bonus and when you have enough of them will give you extra goodies :) The table includes about 130 voices from the game, 22 songs and 42 quotes from the first Deadpool movie.

During battles you may stack multiballs to help you finish them, and even start other modes and keep collecting goodies.

The main layout difference is that the top lanes and right loop are more traditional, and the ball will never return to the plunger, but it will feed to the flipper.
Graphically, only the playfield looks like Stern's table, but the plastics are based on the red leather of Deadpool's suit.

Have fun!
JP

A very cool table

JP.....thank you for the great job

Nice table, plays well, much fun thanks.

One question though, how do you lower the volume on the callouts for Deadpool and other characters, it seems abnormally loud compared to other sounds (at least on my setup).

I agree volume for this table is crazy loud on my system (7.1)  music volume can be change in the top of the script but the call outs are super loud

Just use the latest VPX beta 10.7, older betas had too high volume on the ogg sounds.

Hey JP!

Love the table! but I too also have issues with the table volume, crazy loud table sounds, no sound for rolling ball etc.. Here's the kicker, the table sounds perfect just running it from 10.7 latest beta, but launching it from popper its crazy loud. VPW just released a Maverick table and they had similar issues and fixed it in their latest version 1.1  see their changelog comments- https://vpuniverse.c.../?tab=changelog

Please don't ask questions here, use the Support Topic to do that, otherwise nobody will respond to your questions, because nobody will see your questions :)

You need a newer VPX 10.7. The sound volume was a bug in an older beta. Download from here:

The VP 10.7 beta thread - Visual Pinball - VPForums.org

Thanks for responding JP, I will ask questions in the support forum in the future.

Just to close out my question here, I loaded up the latest version of VPX 10.7 but there is no change in the callout volume it still is at the same loud level.  No biggie, I'll just deal with it.

Thanks!

i have a problem with music in deadpool:

vpx 10.7 249rc
freezy 1.9
flexdmd 1.8

the deadpool table works regularly except for the music, you can hear the sounds of physics but no soundtrack

all the other boards work perfectly ...
even the pupvideo for example

Batman 66
GOTG
Stranger Things

they work, I only have this problem with deadpool ...

in the script the music is set to 0.12 by default so I tried to set it to 1.0 but there is no difference

what am I doing wrong? beyond the English language?

ps: fledmd gives me an error on the DMDdevice dlls as seen in the picture, but as I understand it is normal?

Thanks JP.  Amazing job.

Awesome table.  Son loves playing real DP at local arcade.  Can't wait for him to try this out.  Thank you JP!

Thank you for this!

As an owner of a Deadpool Pro pin, I have to say, I am pretty darn impressed with what you have accomplished.  Hats off to you, thanks for everything you do!

Thank you JP. Awesome surprise and great release!!!!
