This worked for me from the github posting above. (Just in case the link fails)
Solution:
Open the script for the Goldeneye table. Add the following line in the table1_init section:
vpminit me
The stuck flippers also happens at some other Data East tables. It's always the missing line.
Could you be more specific? I do not see a "table1_init" section (even used the find feature and it doesn't show up...).... Are you talking about the "Init" section? It would help if you could say what line on the script.
GOD BLESS you people for having the same problem as me and even better for having a solution! I went through the code for days, downloaded 4 versions of the game, 3 different roms and only after a complete reinstall of vpx did i find this thread. here's where I entered the missing line of code. on line 138
vpminit me
I typed the missing code on line 138 in a open section where the "sub GoldenEye_Init" started on line 101. I'm no expert on coding at all but through trial and error it worked. thx so much people you have no idea how frustrating this was.
its not about a certain line, its about the init-section
sub GoldenEye_Init
vpminit me
NextTrack
and the flippers will work properly.
this will also work with sub Table1_init on other tables, which have no specific tablename
