This beautiful table from Freneticamnesic and Shoopity is challenging fun.
I think this is what the deep-end looks like! 13k lines of complicated.
I gave it my best shot at a makeover and squashed some bugs, but a Gremlin got away
and pops-up occasionally. No tilt and ball-search is flaky. Some long waits.
Empty the contents of the AMH Music folder directly into your Music folder.
Put the whole DMD folder into your Tables folder.
If you used the All-in-one VP installer, you're good to go. Otherwise, install Ultra DMD.
2.0 has new physics, lighting and sound.
Enjoy

The only issue I haven't been able to solve in either this version or the original version is that there's approximately 5-7 seconds of pause between the ball drain animations ending and the next ball release. Can't figure out the cause. I thought it might be because the associated MP3 is too long and is mostly silence at the end, but if you lop off the silence at the end, the MP3 loops, so that's not really the cause, or an improvement at all. Anyone have any ideas? It's a minor annoyance in an otherwise very enjoyable table!
Running in Desktop Mode, and sending B2S to a second screen, did anyone notice any switches in the Table Script that bring B2S to life while in Desktop Mode?? Many thanks in advance.
Nice recreation! But this table had the same bugs in some computers and notebooks:
- after the ball drain, the ball is delayed for 20-30 seconds
- Ghost Gallery selection have the same problem (the ball is delayed for 20-30 seconds)
Also, the sounds and voice lines are all in the same poor quality.
I hope that in future original ROMs will be dumped and the new table will be even better.
Igoreshazhu, keep in mind, this is a "custom" pinball. This was Spooky Pinball's first machine; I'm not sure if the "PinHeck" system was established yet or not. But, even if someone did dump the ROM from a machine, it would require PinMAME to add the emulation for that board. As it is, I got the code from Ben Heck himself and translated it into VBS. And, with the version 1 code having whatever bugs in it, plus my poor translating skills, I'm sure there's plenty of bad stuff still in it.
You should be able to download the sound files from Ben's site and replace them (I think the file names or the same... but I haven't touched this table in years). He used to host the source code on his site, but I didn't see it. After "completing" this table, I never had the patience to go back and recode the version updates.
Some of the ball delays might be actually present in the real game (at least, with the version 1 code). And, some are probably my bad job and finding VP equivalents to his code.

Thanks for this! I also realized that the quality was poor due to the sound files being compressed.
Hi Bigus!
I'm playing this on a single screen desktop computer. The ASH Music folder is in c:\Vpinball\Visual Pinball\Music path. When the table loads I get a error message that the music files can't be found and the table closes. What should I do next? Thank you for this awesome table.!

Just put the .mp3 files directly into the music folder.
LFLogo1 is not in the script for this version.
Nor RFLogo1, LFLogo2, and RFLogo2.

Lucky. My experience is after a ball drain, frequently my game is over prematurely.

I have UltraDMD and put the folder DMD into the Tables folder, but I still see no DMD... How do you get the DMD to work?
