Beautiful table! I've had the ball get stuck twice with a weak shot up the right ramp. It falls off the ramp but misses the up kicker and rolls behind the ramp where it gets stuck.

Increasing the radius of TopVUK to 70 cures it

 

I can't wait to try this version and check out flexdmd. On previous versions I would only get the ball stuck at the upper right VUK during multiball during the jackpot celebration after sending a 2nd ball up there. I wonder if making this change would fix that?

When I use this Earthshaker table, the dmd screen shows up as just a blank black box embedded in the upper-left corner of the screen. I can't see the scores or the ball counter. Does anyone have any idea why or how I can fix that? I'm playing on PC. This is the only table that doesn't let me see the DMD that I have encountered so far. Beautiful table, but the issue is frustrating. I seem to have flexdmd enabled and installed properly. I'm stumped why I'm not getting the DMD to work at all. Also, on another Release, Simpsons Data East, I have the DMD working, but not the improved flexdmd version, just the alphanumeric dmd works. I'm stumped. I'm very new to this, I never found a resolution. 

 I could never get flexdmd to work. I installed it, and I have all green check marks. I even try doing fresh flexDMD installs. My tables always show "use external dmd" as unchecked even if I check it and do a restart. 

I go to the DMD UI it shows all green check marks, it appears as if I'm good to go. I pull up settings on VPinMAME 32 and 64-bit, it shows I have external dmd checked for all games. I pull up and test earthshaker, it says the game works and the roms work, it shows the setting for the game is set to "use external dmd" if I pull up the "F1" menu from the VPinMAME settings test menu. However, it doesn't work when I load into a game and when I search f1 menu in-game "use external dmd" is always unchecked no matter how many times I've checked to "use external DMD" it and restart it. So, I am lost.

Please make an updated version of this table for people who can't get FlexDVD to work. I can't get Flex DMD to work and this table doesn't seem to have a functional DMD outside of that. I could never get any DMD to work on this table, I'm not sure how others got it to work. Some helpful guy on youtube said to to "check the box in F1 menu that says "use external DMD". So, I've tried that, it never works for me. Upon restarting VPX and a pinball table, that box is always unchecked and external dmd never appears. I just want to use a basic DMD with this table, or FlexDMD anything I can get to actually work. I might have to just give up getting this table to work on my Windows PC. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. 

Change line 15 of the script to False to disable FlexDMD and enable the standard scoring.

For FlexDMD - In your DMDext folder, in your Visual Pinball folder, open the dmddevice.ini file and check the section, as below, is set to True   :-

; a DMD that renders with nice dots on a computer monitor
[virtualdmd]
enabled = true

FlexDMD will not work if it's set to false. It is often set to false by default.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, I still couldn't get FlexDMD working, and it's a real shame. I tried your step, no luck. Your other method did work though, and I do have a useable setup now. But I found another table that says FlexDMD is the only option, GameofThrones, and that kind of is unfortunate that they don't have a backup option on that table. I wonder where I went wrong with FlexDMD? I followed the steps and did what everyone told me, lol. Thanks so much for the help, but I think I have to give up on trying to get FlexDMD to work.I hope I don't encounter many tables like GoT that don't have a backup option. Anyway, you're amazing.
