Someone requested that this VP9 table be ported to VPX so I gave it
a go as I also wanted a VPX version. All credit goes to Pinuck for his wonderful VP9 version,
all I did was make it work under VPX and add a few sounds and lighting.
Notes ** This is a cabinet view portrait mode table.
There are workarounds for other displays in the original release post found here.
You will need the file Line_Drive_FS_B2S.exe included in Pinuck's original VP9 table pack found here.

I'll take a look at the GrandSlam counter when I get a minute.
Thanks for finding it. I don't hit that many grand slams to notice it. ![]()
Thank you so much! This is one of my all-time favorites. My son and I have had great times playing this.
Was getting a line 1 error, the table would not load. I found the B2Sstatement in script and changed to False and the table played. I then down loaded the Line_Drive_FS_B2s.zip and extracted the Line_Drive_FS_B2s.exe file and reset the B2s statement to True and then, no error on line 1, and the backglass also worked!
How do you get the backglass to turn off? I love that it works but it doesn't turn off when I exit the game.
EDIT_ nevermind- found the answer on page 2 of this for popper!!
Where is this file? I don't see it in the linked media pack

THANKS for this file to the OP.... and Thanks for this detailed description.. worked for me exactly. Now I need to reposition the PF as it's off set to far right.
*** Just came across this table. So much fun to play. Many thanks to the creators Pinuck (for VP9 version) and tgx (for VPX version). Amazing work! ***
I have one problem with this table and wondered if anyone else experiences it. With the newer version of B2Server, in the ScreenRes.txt file you can use the @ symbol for a specific x location for the back glass (like @2020) instead of a screen number. For me, this causes the back glass to show up somewhere on my third screen. If I switch @2020 to 2 then all works as expected. However the @2020 way of doing it addresses the known problem of Windows changing the screen numbers on reboot or sleep for all tables. I have also tried using v1.0.3 of the Line_Drive_B2S.exe file.
Has anyone seen this behavior, and do they have a fix?
any chance you are working on SLUGFEST? its another modern pitch and bat game
I love playing this game but I cant remember the name of the rom. Would anyone be able to tell me the rom name Thanks Steve
Edit: No need for a rom

I have the problem that the animated BG splits on the displays 1 (table/playing field) and the display 5 in the middle. I have this effect only with this backglass. Every *.directb2s file is otherwise correctly and exclusively output on display 5.
My screenres.txt looks like this:
# Playfield Screen resolution width/height
1920
1080
# Backglass Screen resolution width/height
1622
1014
# Backglass Display Devicename screen number (\\.\DISPLAY)x for the Playfield or screen on position (@x) or screen index (=x)
5
Does anyone have an idea how I can get this corrected?
PS: The display five is an android tablet which is controlled by a USB-SW-driver. Works perfectly with all other tables.
Thanks!
Note ** This is a cabinet view portrait mode table.

This is a SUPER fun game tho! Great work. Makes me wish I owned the real table.
I figured out the small counter was for replays. Still not sure about the Grand Slam counter. My best guess after thorough searches is there’s an internal target inside the home run box you have to hit but after making tons of home runs I’m either incredibly unlucky or wrong about that.
