Aiming for greater visual accuracy and hopefully better physical accuracy (not my strong point, but I'm learning)

This is a Authorized Mod based on the VPX conversion by Goldchicco & 32assassin.
VP9 table by: oooPLAYER1ooo

This is based on World Tour table my friend owned in the late 90's, it was beat up and scratched and I've tried to replicate it on this table.

What's New in Version 2 (See full changelog)

  • V2
  • Changed pretty much everything so I've decided to release this as version 2
  • Increased table dimensions to accommodate the new behind the table Backbox.
  • The Backbox is now real and not a fake animation. The ball now fires from the box and on to the ramp in one fluid motion like it should.
  • Its now easy to get the ball into the backbox as it doesn't bounce off.
  • The top wire rail and backbox now goes out of the table back like the real table.
  • Added studs to guitar play field, so ive been told that studs on the real table divert the ball so it goes down the middle lane, which never happened on previous versions, It now works correctly and now has a chance to go down the middle lane.
  • New guitar play field image and plastic fence (its more accurate, plus the right height this time)
  • Brand new ramp sign post, better textures and primitive.
  • Remade the guitar hand scoop (for the 6th time) as I wasn't satisfied with it, its now totally accurate in shape and size. (it even wiggles a little bit when the ball fires up)
  • Remade bottom table plastics into primitives, the split level plastics are now real instead of fake.
  • New plastic ramp as the original was miles too big.
  • Top table plastics textures improved.
  • Remade top spinning disk targets as they were way off in size and position.
  • Remade all wire ramps and added lighting textures, the old ones were to thick. They are exact in size and position now.
  • Futher improved physics, using nfozzy's physics for posts and rubbers. Also flippers working better.
  • Added missing sounds and improved lots of the existing sounds.
  • Updated rolling sound routine (rolling sounds now on plastic ramp and guitar playfield).
  • New apron and texture.
  • New textures for woods and metals, new screw primitives (by nFozzy).
  • Lighting redone again from scratch, shadow casting from the flashers is now much better (I attempted this before but wasn't very good) .
  • Left ramp new lighting and textures.
  • Proper fading flashes and lighting effects.
  • Removed lots of legacy objects and scripts.
  • Added LUT script by JPSalas (Use the magnasave keys)
  • Added a few table options at the top of the script.
  • Loads of new and improved details that i've probaly forgotten about.
  • Fixed plunger bug at last, fixed multiball missing ball bug.
  • Thanks to JPSalas as ive learnt lots from studying his tables (and stealing his scripts).
  • This is probably the last update for this table (except for bugfixes) as its stating to send me nuts.

Sadly this table is broken. Ball gets stuck in the metal thing on the lower right side.

Sometimes nudging up helps, sometimes not...

Unfortunately, I am having the same issue. When you lock the balls for multiball through the video mode ramp they get stuck and won't kick up through the wireform, which feeds into the right lane. One time one of the balls did kick up properly and the other ball got bumped onto the top of the cd skill shot plastic piece and sat there like it was held by a magnet.

Is someone able to look into this and fix it? The table plays nicely otherwise.

You can edit the table and adjust it -- navigate to Layer_8 -> sw40 and double click that.  It should show that it is a Kicker.  I increased the strength from 40 to 60 and now it works reliably.

I am not sure if its just my setup, but, the latest 10.8 (Rev. 2015) DirectX -64bit is crashing VPX for this table.  If I use 32bit, it works fine.   Not sure why this is the case but just wanted to put it out there.

I think this awesome table would be a prime candidate for the latest VPW treatment.  Such a fun table.

Thank you for this gem.

On this table and the original, when I go to load the table it'll show the playfield and the DMD will say "Battery may be low Installing Program." Then it'll kick back out to the editor.  Anyone know of a fix?

The DMD's top 3 colors are at 100% brightness and I have no idea how to turn them down
