This awesome table from Ninuzzu is great fun.

Big Thanks to the many contributors.

Hi bigus1,
thank you very much for your time spent on this nice table and for sharing it with the community.
I have a time performance issue with this table.
My hardware setup is: Intel Xeon E3-1240 V2 @ 3.4GHz server with 16 Gbytes of RAM and a GTX1060 GPU.
The ball move jerky and the fps span from 60 down to 10.
I almost fixed it increasing the LampTimer_Timer to 100ms, and the ball looks much better now, but when some sounds are played I still have the ball movement losing frames.
After the LampTimer_Timer mod, the fps skyrocketed from 130 to 200.
Do you have any suggestion about that?
This question is extended to anyone out of here who has any good advice about this, of course.
Season greetings to anyone who read this message.
Maybe try a different rom - usually my first port of call as dodgy roms seem quite common. Roms from VPU usually work. Good luck.

Hi bigus1,
first of all thank you for the reply.
I tried all the ROMs on VPU and nothing changed.
Now the FPS rate is very good, but it seems that the ball movements have a lower priority on some sampled sounds and the lights handling timer routine.
I don't know how the emulator handle the priority amongst the various tasks, but this table seems be different respect the others for my cabinet.
I have the same problem on my desktop PC, but it is a slower machine so it doesn't matter for the issue.
By the way, I also tried an another version of this table issued somewhere in the WEB this spring, but it had the same issue, so I guess that it's something not depending on your code.
Thank you again.
Have great days.
Massimo
Another high quality mod by bigus1. Thanks.
Hi Bigus1,
I finally fixed the issue.
It was the backglass setup.
For a unknown reason, for this table I have to run the backglass in EXE mode and set the default start mode "In EXE".
Now even returning the LampTimer_Timer to 20ms the ball rolls smooth.
Thank you anyways for taking care of my issue.
Have great days.
Massimo

my understanding is that you have to ALWAYS run the backglass in default 'exe' mode with VPX
