Are the slings made to look more obvious in the version over the previous one?  There seems no depth or shadows to make them stand out.

The slings aren't directly lit on this table so it's a bit tricky, but I gave it a good go and they seem to have more depth/contrast now

Thanks for the update, looks great!  I don't know what they were smoking at Gottlieb in the late 80's early 90's, but this is a fine representation of the weird stuff they were putting out back then

Table seems to play OK... but then all of a sudden the game ends. Flippers stop working and it's game over. Is it a timed table or something?

Yes you're correct. Not really seen that on other tables before. Sometimes the time is as little as 7 seconds. I don't see the point in having a time as low as that. And sometimes I get two balls in the plunger lane for this bonus as a multiball.
