Download Solar City (Gottlieb 1977) 1.0b
13 Votes
One of my last tables - Solar City. This is the 2 player version of Target Alpha. Thanks to Greywolf and his playfield image this table would not exist for y'all otherwise. Plastics are redraws by GNance from Popotte's originals on Target Alpha with a slight color change by me to reflect how Gottlieb did these on the cheap back then. Backglass is included. FYI - originally I used Wildman's image (thank you for that) but I happened to stumble upon a sharper image belonging to Noah Fentz so I swapped the image so that is what is in here now.

many thanks
I played many Gottliebs in 1977 and this looks and feels exactly as I remember. Great job!
Many thanks for this table, just I have the impression there is something wrong with the position of the flippers or the artwork.
Where in the real table the label that says "same player shoots again when lit" is positioned exactly in the middle of the flippers, in this recreation it is not.
Exactly the same in the desert city table. http://www.pinrepair.com/gtb/scity.htm

Thanks
Thanks for all the Gottlieb Tables. Great job. I have downloaded many of your tables.
My very first download. Played this endlessly at the arcade I was a change boy at. I love this machine! Thank you for helping me relive some memories, and give me some challenge. Your hard work is appreciated.
Thank you for this table. It looks good and it plays well.
So even the mighty Gottlieb was not above repackaging an older table, huh? This is the second "El Dorado" re-tread which I'm aware of.
It's funny they should choose that one. I would say it's not their best playfield layout. Too many dead bounces rolling straight down the middle of the drain.
But I do think that the targets in mid playfield, left side are different. And this one just might be an improvement over El Dorado. I'll be playing and evaluating this question for sure.
