Based on the Taito table from 1982.
Thanks to:
Carlos Guizzo for the source images.
Akiles5000 for the redrawing of the playfield.

I couldn't say no to make this table after Akiles5000 sent me a perfect redraw of the playfield and Carlos had new images of the plastics.

What's New in Version 6.0.0 (See full changelog)

  • 6.0.0 Updated September 2025
  • - Moved LUT to User Options (F12)
  • - Added some extra options to the User Options (F12)
  • - Updated physics to my latest rev 4.3.1. mostly bouncier rubbers and harder flippers.
  • 5.5.0 Updated 12.12.2024
  • - New playfield mesh to avoid the ball getting stuck on top of the flippers.
  • - Fixed my ball spin control, which were too aggressive, and it killed the ball's acceleration, making the ball too slow, getting stuck on ramps, and also being unable to climb the ramps on many tables.
  • 5.0.0 Updated 2.05.2024
  • - Updated for VPX8.
  • - Updated physics to my Rev3. Including physics materials, flipper code and slingshot shapes.
  • - Updated LUT images and display, 10 darker shades and 10 warmer shades.
  • - some graphical changes (playfield mesh with holes, metal wall guides, lights warmer)
  • - added a screenshot for scutters file explorer handler
  • 4.0.0 Updated 29.8.2022
  • - Updated to my VPX7 physics
  • - cleaned up and deleted unused graphics & reduced the size of the table
  • - Added my VPX7 LUT changer to darker the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL). Including GI brightness adjustment. Use the LUT changer together with the day/night slider to give the table the level of darkness you prefer.
  • - Updated my mechanical set of sounds to a more "under the glass" sound, as people seem to like those kind of sounds better.
  • - Changed the Environment image to enhance a little the object shadows.
  • - Made the light inserts warmer, mostly the white lights.
  • 3.0 Updated 28.11.2020
  • Updated script, physics & graphics:
  • - added the arcade physics 3.0
  • - removed workarounds for the vpinmame droptargets as they fully support SSF (hit sounds) with the latest vpinmame.
  • - new rolling routine that now includes the ball shadow, the ball drop sound from Rothbauer and my ball speed control.
  • - Easy change of the ambient lightning: Hold down LeftMagnaSave and with RightMagnaSave it will switch between LUT images, from light to dark, 9 levels, and the selection will be saved for the table.
  • - some extra collision sounds and more random hit sounds.
  • 2.0.0 Updated 13.12.2019
  • - Script changes:
  • Added SSF sound and exchanged some mechanical sounds.
  • Added new fading lights routine which uses less cpu for the flash objects.
  • Added the NVram patch for Taito do Brasil tables by Pmax65, which fixes possible rom errors when quiting the tables during play.
  • Enabled fastflips
  • - New environment image for better looking metals and for better adjustment of the Night -> Day cycle.
  • - New material settings to suit the new environment image.
  • - added 3 colorgradeLUT images for normal, saturated and half saturated to better fit your monitor. The default is the normal color.
  • - New VPX physics (jp's arcade physics with lower friction and heavier flippers).Changed all the objects in contact with the ball: playfield, rubbers, plastics, metals, flippers, slingshots, bumpers...
  • - Extra decorations like a subtile ball shadow and flipper decorations
  • 1.0.0 Released 10.05.2018

Love it. Peace JP. Thanks.

Thanks

Amazing! Very good childhood memories...

showwww!!!! 1000%

Amazing job! Thank you very much!!

Thanks very much updating that table.

You are an good artist =)

Thanks for making that table.
Have an nice week.

Thanks for making that table.

I have tested the version 6.0 and happen an weird behavior.

Is extremely hard move the ball to left ramp as if the ball not has strength and physics are much tough to fall.

I have used that table in current version 6.00 and are happening an strange behavior.
Cosmic rules are to advance planets need hit all 4 left drop targets.
In some times hitting only 3 left drop targets advance one planet and strangely when happen that issue hitting one left target does drop 2 left targets at same time.
That behavior are correct ?

Hi JP. Thanks for your amazing work. You're just incredible!

Kust a question, if you can answer. When I upgrade to version 6.0 and newer tables the games start automatically, without me being able to add more players. Also, sometimes no ball shows up! Any suggestions about what's happening? seems to only happen on your Taito tables. Thanks.
