Based on the Taito table from 1978.
Thanks to:
- Carlos Guizzo for the source images.
- Tio Italo for the images of his FP table
- Akiles5000 for the redrawing of the playfield and backdrops
- and to allknowing2012 for letting me use the images from his Mata Hari table.
This is the complete table including the magnets, which can be activated with the MagnaSave buttons. The magnets are located where the flipper drawings are, under the droptargets. And those magnets send the ball to the droptargets.
A similar table from Taito is Vegas, which came later same year, and it has the option to change the LADY lights using the MagnaSave buttons.

What's New in Version 4.0.0 (See full changelog)

  • 4.0.0 Updated 29.8.2022
  • - Updated to my VPX7 physics
  • - cleaned up and deleted unused graphics & reduced the size of the table
  • - Added my VPX7 LUT changer to darker the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL). Including GI brightness adjustment. Use the LUT changer together with the day/night slider to give the table the level of darkness you prefer.
  • - Updated my mechanical set of sounds to a more "under the glass" sound, as people seem to like those kind of sounds better.
  • - Changed the Environment image to enhance a little the object shadows.
  • - Made the light inserts warmer, mostly the white lights.
  • 3.0 Updated 05.12.2020
  • Updated script, images & physics:
  • - added the arcade physics 3.0
  • - removed workarounds for the vpinmame droptargets as they fully support SSF (hit sounds) with the latest vpinmame.
  • - new rolling routine that now includes the ball shadow, the ball drop sound from Rothbauer and my ball speed control.
  • - Easy change of the ambient lightning: Hold down LeftMagnaSave and with RightMagnaSave it will switch between LUT images, from light to dark, 9 levels, and the selection will be saved for the table.
  • - some extra collision sounds and more random hit sounds.
  • 2.0.0 Updated 13.12.2019
  • - Script changes:
  • Added SSF sound and exchanged some mechanical sounds.
  • Added new fading lights routine which uses less cpu for the flash objects.
  • Added the NVram patch for Taito do Brasil tables by Pmax65, which fixes possible rom errors when quiting the tables during play.
  • Enabled fastflips
  • - New environment image for better looking metals and for better adjustment of the Night -> Day cycle.
  • - New material settings to suit the new environment image.
  • - added 3 colorgradeLUT images for normal, saturated and half saturated to better fit your monitor. The default is the normal color.
  • - New VPX physics (jp's arcade physics with lower friction and heavier flippers).Changed all the objects in contact with the ball: playfield, rubbers, plastics, metals, flippers, slingshots, bumpers...
  • - Extra decorations like a subtile ball shadow and flipper decorations
  • 1.0.1 Updated 06.05.2018
  • - fixed script error with bumper4, thanks markrock76 for finding the error.
  • 1.0.0 Released 04.05.2018

Thank you very much JP, Carlos, Tio, Akiles and Allknowing for this and Vegas. Perfect timing once again. Have a few tables this week I haven't had the time to try so I'm looking forward to this afternoon.

I wasn't aware that there are magnets on this table. Now I'm just curious to their purpose. Guess I know in a couple of hours.

Super table however I have to play with sound down as there's a constant background humming.  I can't imagine that's supposed to be there.  I deleted my nvram and even played with the dip settings in various combinations.  Anyone else have this issue?

And this isnt a humming like in Meteor which is supposed to be there. Its quite high-pitched and almost drowns out all game sounds. I have an almost similar issue with Mr Black. All other Taito do Brasil tables run excellent.

Maybe you should update your vpinmame, maybe even use the latest beta 3.1 from here: http://www.vpforums....showtopic=27063 I know they made some fixes to the taito sounds.

I can do that.  I'm still on just 3.0 release.  Will try this suggestion much later tonight and I'll update on result.  Thank you for the suggestion JP!

Fantastic !!  tanks !!
