This is an update to a very old Heat Wave Visual Pinball table created by Duglis.  I have updated the graphics for HD displays and made adjustments to the rules.  The swing targets now animate.

Special thanks to Duglis for the original table and Leo Spalding for allowing usage of the images from his Future Pinball table.

Version 2.0.0: Thanks to editoy for the ball launcher suggestion and to help test the feature and to arngrim for adding force feedback and making some adjustments.

What's New in Version 2.0.0 (See full changelog)

  • -The table now uses a ball lifter to add a ball to the plunger lane like the original table. This is done with the Right Magna Save button or Start button. Up to five balls can be in play at once.
  • -Small graphical adjustments to work with the ball lifter.
  • -The plunger was changed to look more like the original.
  • -Added force feedback by arngrim.

Thanks.  I'm not sure what my next table will be.  I've done six in a row now and it's been a lot of work. Most of what I do is take existing tables and reskin them with better graphics.  Recreating something from scratch, like Wagon Train, is a little out of my league.

if you want another duglis table just to update

try knock out from 1950 love the 2 boxers in the ring

BEAUTIFUL!!!

i like it very much. Great work

I love EM tables from '60 with 5 balls in bottom "Played Ball"  slot

The original had the ball lifter under the plunger, so i'd like to know:

is it possible to add a command like that activated from keyboard (example with G key)?

thank you again for your work, amazing

Glad you like the table.  How would the ball lifter function in VP? You press the button and the ball rolls into the plunger area?  Can this be done while another ball is in play?

yes.

old em mechanical tables had a lever under the plunger that phisically lift up the ball in plunger channel

if you luook at Heat Wave table on IPDB you can see it

i found VP table that works with separate ball lifter at the beginnig of the game and during ball in play too.

some examples (if i remember well)

Bank A Ball (Gottlieb 1965)
Buckaroo (Gottlieb 1965)
Gigi (Gottlieb 1963)
Kings and Queens (Gottlieb 1965)
Paradise (Gottlieb 1965)
Silver (Gottlieb 1957)

i don't know how do dey do it (i'm not able to realize a VP tables sorry)

i'm able only to do small adjustement on viewing proprieties and make big mistakes when i try to modifiy scripts...

the only good thing i made for VP tables is the redrawing of Big Deal (Williams 1963)

feel free to use my grafics if you like them

Thanks..
