A high detail model was sculpted in ZBrush and then used with projection mapping in 3ds max to produce a normals bump map to give the illusion of high detail on the low poly optimised version.  It really relies on the normal map to look good and have nice detail. Texture swaps are included with a variety of intensities to be used with the near by green flasher.
