Resources provided by sliderpoint and jim5six,  Jim owns the table so he was a huge help in making this happen, can't thank him enough for his help and contribution!  The FP models by ROM were also used as reference and we are still using the same tube that encases the Alien so thanks ROM!  The tube is pretty simple really and is fairly well done so it seemed like a waste of time to redo it.  My new alien model was my first ZBrush project and what I did was made a high detail model and used it for projection mapping to generate normals map to give the low poly version of the model the illusion of much higher detail.  There are also a number of texture swaps for when the red lights come on.
