Bally 1978 - 6 Player Classic game
DOF Enabled

Uses Arngrim's new controller.vbs file to enable DOF and directb2s - be sure to have that installed in your scripts/table directory.

Be sure the directb2s file matches exactly the name of the table.

What's New in Version v2.0 (See full changelog)

  • 1.0 - Initial Release
  • 2.0 - 32ASSASSIN did a fresh primitive and code update of the table. A few bugs were corrected and Arngrim updated the DOF coding.

Thank you so much to all involved, this is one of my alltime favourite tables and one that holds the most memories for me as a kid in Pinball parlours. Get the post up, tap flipper pass, get specs. Rack up 5 games (limit) . Sell 5 games for 60c to a punter. Put 60c into Space Wars for 3 minutes of play. Repeat. Happiness :)

THANK YOU :)

Dam- Looks great- been on my cab wish list for years but just cannot run VP10.

Any chance of a version for the common people- (VP9ers) ?

 thanks allknowing, Top Table :)

Great table!I great TV series! and great physics in VP10!!!!!!!!!!!  I cant stop playing! But cant complete the 50000 lights because I have played almost 100 times and never got the centre 0 target on the left. Is it working? I beat it but nothing happens! How can bumpers  increase the power? these are weak ! The ball never rebounds on them and goes into the saucer...it should! Thanks very much for this table!

I cant stop playing this table! SMDM 2.0 is perfect! I lowered the slope table from 6 to 5 and plays much better!!! I made 480.000 points!!! It is too much in this table!  :)

Yes, its true... I dropped 200 coins to reach 480.000 points, but I did it !

Getting Better the physics of SMDM 2.0:

Try 3 coins with the actual parameters, and then with these changes, and then you tell me.....

Table slope: change from 6 to 5,5

Gates elasticity: change from 0,6 to 0,9 .-  This will allow the ball to enter the saucer when start a new ball, like the real table, (watch youtube videos)

Bumpers Force: change  from 7 to 8,5

Slingshot Force: change from 0 to 2,9

Top Saucer force: Change from 5 to 15 open the SCRIPTS, line 144, change the last number (5) to 15 to increase the saucer power when release the ball.

The table behavior will be almost the same as the real pinball machine.

It took me 3 hours of investigations (and COINS) to get this working properly, in my opinion!

Thanks to the table author !!!!

How to set up FIRST REPLAY (240.000 pts) and SECOND REPLAY (500.000pts) according to the INSTRUCTIONS and REPLAYS CARDS:

Press the number 7 six times (pc keyboard) until 01 is displayed in the Ball In Play/ Match display.

Press the pinball Start button (or number 1 on pc keyboard) to reach the desired points, (240000). It raises 10.000 points every time 1 is pressed.

Then press 7 again, and 02 will be desplayed in the Ball In Play/ Match display.

Press the 1 key or the cabinet start button to reach the desired points, (500.000).

Then press 7 key until the machine resets itself and goes to attract mode.

Insert coins and have fun  :)

This procedure is valid for all SS 80s Bally and Stern games.

Is this a DT version or FS?

In vpx, tables are both versions, FS and DT... look the backdrop options, you have the DT and FS parameters. If Test DT box is checked, you will play the DT version. If it is not checked, you will play the FS version
