I guess my point is, since they are all WIP anyway (even up to the release of VP10)... having them all in the WIP section, so when an author updates or abandons the WIP its easier for the testers to know whats up....

Amgrim (or anyone):

Although I'm not using DOF, I wanted to try out your new script for Smurfette on my mini-cab since you're planning to use it on all future tables. When I first ran the table, it successfully created a text file containing a "0." But the backglass display is static, and the active scoring reels are on the playfield. I put the Controller.vbs in my tables folder where I have all my other vbs files. What am I missing?

Robocop (Data East 1989)BETA for VPXrev2409+

Created by ICPjuggla, Talantyyr, Dozer316 and dark

This is a 'from scratch' build

This was a team effort all the way.
- ICPjuggla worked on the basic build, lighting and a bunch of other stuff.
- Talantyyr did all the graphics from scratch and vectorized everything
- Dozer316 did the scripting and helped out in many areas of the build
- dark built a bunch of custom 3D models for this which put the table over the top..

Special thanks to the test team
- zany
- freneticamnesic
- Fulltilt
- theloafer
- gtxjoe

thanks ttrenkner.  I think there is a bug in the code, I'll work with arngrim and get it straightened out.

Thank you, it seems pretty much beta still. I got one table to load out of ten I tried. That was Jp's link. But his tales of arbic night crashed, also attack from Mars. Script errors. Then the hounted house, had ultra dmd errors before crash. It looks promising. I like the fact, that you have desktop and cab tables option one table.

Dear ICP and Dream-Team,

The minute I Ioaded this one up, I literally said, "WOW!" out loud. How did you guys achieve that lighting? This table really looks futuristic. The illumination looks like its powered by "black lights" -- the kind that makes fluorescent objects glow ethereally.

Like Hauntfreaks said, the drawings are so crisp! I didn't think my monitor was capable of showing such sharp detail. This table really showcases resolution.

I love how you guys tuned the "jump the gap" ramp shot. It's hard to get -- just like a real table. When you do blast it up that ramp and achieve the leap, it's really satisfying. Just great.

You guys choose just the right amount of bloom for the purple recessed table lights. They look absolutely stunning in contrast with the crispness of the line drawn graphics.

This is an absolute winner, team! Thanks so much for the fun.

:D

thats odd because every table you mentioned work perfect, infact... I have every table ever released for VP10 and all are working.... VP10 isnt for systems that are faint of heart.... hehehe  ;)

In fact, it's pretty much final and everything works nearly perfectly.

Maybe you should read the guide before saying something like that.

Have you extracted the vbs files to the right dir? (scripts dir or your table dir?)

When you say you get script errors, it doesn't seem so....

Same here I think that many users simply omit to update the Scripts from inside the release. Maybe it should be added as folder \Scripts\ and not VBS.zip inside zipped already file.... I said "maybe" this will close the chapter for those who omit to extract the vbs.zip. So that way users will simply have to extract the content of new release directly inside their respective "Visual Pinball" and all will be updated at the same extraction....  Just my personal opinion with respect for devs of course ;)

Yes, I just downloaded and played robocop. it loaded right up and played. Very nice table. Also I just upgraded my hardware two days ago, plays future pinball with bam smooth, so I doubt, it's a hardware issue.
Very nice robocop, is their a way to flip dmd? I usually look in the script
for a rol 0 or 1 option. Does vp ten have a option, to do it automatically or am I missing something?

Yes simply add this line if I understand correctly your need.

Sub Table1_Init
    With Controller
       .GameName=cGameName
If Err Then MsgBox "Can't start Game" & cGameName & vbNewLine & Err.Description : Exit Sub
       .Games(cGameName).Settings.Value("rol")=1                     '<<<----- add this line
       .SplashInfoLine="Robocop (Data East 1990)"
