Does anyone have vpinmame.dll version 2.9 working without issues with a pinDMD3 display.  I have some games where the DMD is messed up.  It will pause and stutter and then show some garbage.  I think there are some good improvements in 2.9 so I would like to be able to run it.  Thanks

Yes my friend. I don't have any problems currently. Well, except that I can't write my highscore on Diablo UltraDMD :-)

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

did you ever get this figured out?  I am using pindmd3 - 2.7 and 2.8b work great but with 2.9 I get dmd flickering etc.  sounds like the same problem you have.

I did, I think my trouble was that I was using an older version of pindmd.dll.  I had that exact issue, check your pindmd.dll and make sure its current.  sorry not in front of the cab now to tell you which version.  Post if your still having trouble and I can try to help,

Sticking with 2.8 and vp10.2 for now, everything is working perfectly.

well I needed 2.9 in order to play monsterbashs' newest pincab tables.  they are worth upgrading to 2.9 and wont play on 2.8 or 2.8b so it was worth it for me.  getting the proper dll for 2.9 solved the problem for me and it was worth it to have access to these tables

once I had the correct 2.9dll it works as well as 2.8 and allowed me access to more tables

I just reinstalled a Pincab because it was just time and I had some PinDMD3 troubles.  Fresh install of win10x64, installed 10.3 and 10.3.1. minimal copy over.  Move PinDMD3 stuff and tried out a table.  Damm display is slow and sometimes shows garbage.  This is so strange as I just did another machine last week and it went well.  UltraDMD just freezes VPX.  ahhhh I hate computers sometimes.

It was of course very simple.  Wrong dmddevice.dll again
