Got the bug to create the Mirror Universe version.  This is a mod of rothbauerw's VPX release.  Credit goes to rothbauerw for all the work he put into the VPX table.  This table mod wouldn't exist without it :)

Here is the current WIP - REQUIRES VPX 10.1 release.  I may eventuall add some additional images from Zitt's real table conversion on Pinside

Thanks go out to

Interesting idea.  :)

(But you know that there is a VPX easter egg that can do almost exactly that?)

Great idea, Gtx. Thanks!

And Toxie -- where's that Easter egg hidden? Looking forward to playing all my favorites "flipped!"

I found the reference to the mirrored play but I cant make it work - or perhaps I am not following the egg correctly.

I see reference to vp9 easter egg re-activated in VPX, but I can't find any info on triggering the easter egg.  Google is failing me :)

For this table, hit the Time Warp lane for it's easter egg

Only works in UltraPin code?

Seems so - even the source code allows for it  to handle nudges properly.

This is actually a good hint, too, for finding the cheat on google..

But its also not -that- difficult to trigger.. Just try to do something 'special' when launching a table..

Okay I got it .. wouldnt work with my 991.exe but did with VPx.exe  And now it makes sense with how it works with Ultrapin as well.

[sorry to hijack your Star Trek thread btw]

I hope you can use Zitt's assets to do a true mirror universe trek table' would be great to have this table in our collection for sure. His custom table is fantastic, can't imagine the dozens/hundreds of hours and amount of work he put in.

I asked the original author (via PM on pinside) for permission to build this in VPX and he put a lot of conditions on the release.

I tried to reassure him there wouldn't be any legal problems but at the end of it all he never responded and never gave permission.  :-(

I'll leave it up to Noah to decide if he want's to host it here...

Best Regards,

Kruge99.

Pretty c00L once you figure it out... took me 2 or 3 Google Search-Fu's to find it after the UltraPin hint...

This WIP does not contain any of Zitt's assets so no need for permission from him on this version so far :)

He did release his playfield and plastics images under some type of license, but I have not looked into that licensing in any detail...
