Wonder if anyone has a more recent config that would export their color configs for colordmd options.

The last one posted was this WIP (sorry forgot the author)

I've done every single dmd game that could be done. I would love to be able to do SAM games and Gottlieb dmd's.

I'm using dmd colours in my cab. I think I'm using my pallets choices from the same source.

Yeah, I asked for settings too on the release page for that SS DMD video. I wound up just playing the file and using a color picker to figure it out.

I got rid of all the dots on my DMD and made the images solid so the colors I use will no longer look good if your dmd displays dots. It seemed to alter all the colors so I had to darken every single one of them.

Perhaps he means he looked at the videos from here .. and used a color picker to determine the colours they used?

For example: xmen

Shawn - is it possible for you to use setdmd and export the colors for us to take a peek? Even if you post a couple of them to test.

I don't know what this is. I use Autoit3 Window Spy which comes with AutoHotkey distribution at ahkscript.org. Run the video in VLC or something. Freeze the frame and point your cursor on a pixel where you want to get a color. The tool will report the color codes which you will then need to map to RGB.

I can do it tomorrow when I'm at the arcade, my cab isn't at my home. What should I do with the file once I export it? And again, my colors will be dark if you have dots on your dmd. Once I saw what it looked like with solid shading I changed them all that way. They look phenomenal, especially games that used digitized movie footage. Once you do it you can never go back to dots ;)

It's weird, but the people with real pinball machines are taking their dmd's out and replacing them with flatscreens, and the digital pinball people are putting dmd's into their machines! Kooky hobby man.

Btw, after Stern re-releases Spiderman the next title will have a color lcd screen. I have this on very good authority. You heard it here first.

zip up the .dmc files and place on dropbox or upload here to the frontends category ..

if you open one file with notepad .. you should see like 12 numbers. You could post that contents from one of your fav roms here in a reply for us to check out.
