I had quiet a few tables setup and running well in VP, both in and outside of PinballX.  Then I moved on to Future Pinball.  Wow, that messed up my entire setup.

Now when I launch any table in VP, I get this error message:

Fatal Error: HRESULT 88760868 at..\RenderDevice.cpp:284

I have no idea what I did or how to fix this.  Can anyone help me figure what I did and how to fix this?

Thank you in advance!

Try lowering the textures down to something less than max in the settings menu

That seemed to do the trick.  Thanks BobAlbright!

I have the same problem, is this a setting in Visual Pinball? My tables are working but none of the UPS back glasses are working.

Don't think that my suggestion to DKong would help you...but to answer your question, it is a setting in preferences. I think you also meant UVP backglasses. Suggestion...forget about UVP and do the Db2s backglasses. I think they're easier to set up and it's the current way that new backglasses are done. UVP is several years old and no one is making U V P bglasses anymore. Check the tutorials on how to get db2s to work. You'll need to download the b2s server...from this site. Read the directions!

I agree with Bob.  Keep in mind, getting B2S back glasses working takes a bit of time, since you need to change one item in each table script.  I don't know of a way to do this across all tables, however they look great once setup.

Good luck!

B2S Backglass Server

http://www.vpforums....kglassserverexe

----

Some games you have to change this line in the Script

Set Controller = CreateObject("VPinMAME.Controller")   Change to ---> Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")

Some games you use F6 set the B2S.Server

And some games you change this to 3,or 4

Const cController = 0        '0=Use value defined in cController.txt, 1=VPinMAME, 2=UVP server, 3=B2S server, 4=B2S with DOF (disable VP mech sounds)
