Trolling through the audio in Cactus Canyon with the M1 emulator I found some interesting stuff, like this and this.

Just thought it was interesting.

Strange stuff there.
I am hearing:
"Ionic bot unit" and "Tire treads cowpoke"
Kind of hard to hear it very clear.

They're quotes from "Bionic Bart" - the 'boss fight' bad guy that Matt C said wasn't supposed to be included in the final rules. There's a whole set of them. The two I saved out and linked are "I am a Bionic Bart Unit" and "Eat my Tire treads, Cowpoke".

There's a bunch of unused sound effects in the ROM including one that says "Marshal Multiball" -- wonder what that was going to be.

Yeah, that's well known. I guess I was just surprised that they had left all the audio for bionic bart in the rom since it got written out of the rules. Enh, maybe it's not that weird. It certainly may come in handy if I can get good enough with python to make something interesting with a P-Roc board wink.gif
