A few notes about the table:

- This table is dedicated to my dear friend from Argentina Jolo (playcade), he asked me to build this table for VPX, so this weekend I took my old table and rebuild it for VPX, removed much of the old code, and in less than two days the table was ready. VPX really makes it easier to build tables :)

- Thanks to Noah Fentz for the pictures of the plastics.
- This table uses the 7 digits ROM bootleg as default, you need both roms: hglbtrtr.zip and hglbtrtb.zip

- I have added 2 extra graphics for the bumpers and droptargets. On some tables I have seen the red and blue exchanged in the bumpers and droptargets. So if you prefer the another color you may exchange the images, but you will need to do it in the editor :)

- There is also a basketball. So if you prefer to play with a ceramic ball that looks like a basketball, then in the editor you need to assign the graphics "BlackBall" to the Ball Image, and "basketball" to the Decal.

Hi playcade

I followed your tips and I changed the slope. now is ok. I'm enjoying a lot. thank you!

I tried to play dolly parton but it doesen't work. I don't know why, roms are ok. there is something wrong in row 95 of the program.

which other pinballs do you think are worth to be downloaded?

ciao

At the end...which VP are you using? VP9 or VPX?

There is a lot of them. I like the 79-81 series...

I like: Eight ball Deluxe, Xenon, ALI, Black Knight, FIREPOWER, SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN, FLASH, FLASH GORDON, Flight 2000, Haunted House, Dolly Parton, Rollig Stones, Kiss, Old Coney Island, Hotdoggin,Star Trek, Future Spa...etc

Tell me if you are using vp9 or vpx.

JP Salas is the author of the Harlem Globetrotters Table...he also made:

Thank You !

Hi, a new one here. I wonder if anyone can help me in making this game playable. I've running VPX 10.5, both rom zip files are in the same roms folder as the other roms.

However, when starting this table I get a VBScript error window stating

"Machine 'hglbtrb' (Harlem Globetrotters (7-digit conversion)) terminated before initialized, check the rom path or rom file!"

When I click OK, the table opens and I can enter coins (I hear the coin click) and use the ball launcher, but I see no score table nor balls.

I haven't encountered problems with other tables. Any advice?

Sounds like you do not have the hglbtrb.zip rom file in the ROM folder...

Here's some notes I left myself:  You can press F6 and set up correctly for Credit Display and Match show!  Use hglbtrtb for 7 digit, comment setup in script to select correct rom.

Thanks Jimmay3 for your suggestions. I do have the roms in the correct folder and I ran the Vpinmame setup program to check the validity of the rom files. Everything looks fine from the setup side.

I got the game working halfway: After getting the error the table opens fullscreen. I pressed F3 to reset the game and got the table working, BUT the scores are in a separate window.

When I installed VPinball from the all-in-one package I said no to the dialog asking if I have a second screen, could that be the problem?

BTW, when I press the F6 I cannot enter anything to the screen, my mouse doe not appear and keyboard presses do not have any effect.

Hi, Jaab! The scores window is the default VPINMAME SCORE WINDOWS. If you open the table script, in line 53 you will read:   Hidden=0

Change it to Hidden=1 to hide the vpinmame score window

Great, thank you Playcade, I got rid of the rom errors simply by changing that :)

Now I am just missing the score displays next to the table. How do I get them visible?

Mmm.....If we see the table picture here in vpforums, we can see that there is not backdrop with score digit....I think the author JP, didnt make them...

And I suppose that HIDDEN was 0 because there is not backdrop.

I play it in my cab with 2 screens. The second monitor shows me the B2S backglass, with the scores, but this is an asociated file with the same name as the table, with the extension .B2S.

If you play in 1 screen, may be you will need the HIDDEN=0, so you can see the scores,

In any table, in the vp editor ,if you click in the BACKDROP button, on the left upper side, below Magnify and Options button, you will toggle between playfield view and backglass view (backdrop).

In this particular table, Globetrotters, there is not digits scores .

Try to see them in other any table!

But I dont know why this table brings you error messages!

HIDDEN=0 is not a reason to give errors. It shows the vpinmame score windows...
