Updates:

- Flipper rotation now can be controlled when button is presses (SolenoidOn) and release (SolenoidOff)

- Vertical ball speed repoarted thru FlipperExe.BallVSpeed takes in to account flipper rotation

Not a problem. We have very bad cell phone data plans in Canada so as a rule I do not watch YouTube unless I am using wifi. Today I broke that rule

This is normal release.

 

- Ball & Flippers shadows (go to Addons menu to tweak params)

- Added new script command to control new shadows and ball look

hi guys,

can i get some help please?   trying to set up a webcam i found. 

 

can someone tell me  (in normal easy language)    what the exact steps are?    

 

steps i did

- connecting webcam and installed drivers (there is no webcam software)

-enabled IR tracking in future pinball

 

and then i'm lost. no matter what i try in BAM, nothing works. i'm trying the simplecam option (downloaded the simple cam.dll and placed it in plugins) i can see that the cam is working because i can see myself, but there is no tracking. there is no green square.

i downloaded opentrack software and there i can see that the cam is tracking. i see a green circle around my head.

Ok after days of testing, I got it working (sort of), tracking is working but not so stable. And I don’t have the 3D feeling, it looks just like ‘static cam’.

A lot of people feel the 3D ironically works only with one eye, so shut one eye and see if it works better for you.  Ironically (part 2), I suffer from double vision a bit so probably why BAM works decently for me.  I've not messed with it for a while though, don't even know where my LED stuff is for this for the original BAM setup though now I do have a Kinect 2 set up.  I really need to reinstall FP on that pincab!

Well 1 eye or 2 eyes, its the same. Playfield is following my head, so thats good. But there is no 3D. Its just a normal looking playfield like static cam. And there is lots of lag, it follows my head but to slow. Thinking of throwing my cam away

single camera was never great for tracking, at least compared to dual camera or kinect 2

Never mind, I got it! I pointed the open track software to the simplecam.dll. Everything works now but. Its just need some tweaking and I have to play with one eye closed 😂

I would guess he means VPX?
To which the answer would be no, VPX would not need it anyways, the VPX team is not dead
So anything that would go into a BAM for VPX would just go into VPX, hence the only BAM is you hitting the table glass during multiball
