Added SlingShot animation
Added some very basic GI lighting effects on the playfield (nothing special, but better than nothing).
Since the forum crash, I've removed all previous versions. Just download the most recent version.

Biggest change is High Scores now work... unless someone tells me otherwise
Currently no way to reset the high scores other than using the Visual Pinball Save File Editor (hey, you gotta leave something for the next update, right? ;-) )

You don't need to download the new table.  Just download the "AMH VP9 Table v1.2, Cod ver 20" and copy/paste the text into the table's script. (hey, it saves you from another 100 meg download, right?)

Don't forget the Options menu.  During the attract mode of the game:
  • Open the coin door (or push the End key on yourkeyboard)
  • Cycle through the menus with 8 and 9 keys
  • Open the menu dialog box with the 0 key (kind of like a Williams game)
You will need a mouse to make the selections.
If you're savvy enough, you can just download the code file and replace the script; HOWEVER, for version 1.1 you will be missing out on three thunder sound FX if you don't download the table.

Here it is, finally and officially.
This is Spooky Pinball's/Ben Heck's: America's Most Haunted.

1. Download the v1.zip table, unzip and place in your Visual Pinball\Tables folder
2. Download the GIF pack and place the folder in your Visual Pinball\Tables folder (dir should remain named America's Most Haunted.UltraDMD)
3. Download the Music pack and extract it to Visual Pinball\Music
4. Download UltraDMD here.  Follow the instructions on that page, including the XDMD downloads, but you don't need the scene builder or test table.

UltraDMD is NOT required, however I don't see the point in playing this table with no animations or score.  If you're not going to use UltraDMD, I don't think you need the gifs.  But, you will need the music.  Make sure you place the mp3s in a folder called "Music" where you have your VP.exe (e.g. C:\program files\visual pinball\Music).

You can download UltraDMD here.  Follow the instructions on that page.

If you have problems getting UDMD to work, many have said this postreally helped them.

Huge thanks to Ben Heck who allowed me and sent every single stinkin' piece of data that was in any way shape or form related to this table.  Thanks to freneticamnesic for his work on the VPX version and allowing me to port his amazing artwork back to the VP9 version.  Thanks to Arngrim for his DOF entries (unfortunately, unbeknowst to him, the table currently doesn't have all the work he put into the VPX version :-(; I will work on putting them in and provide an update).  Thanks to everyone who helped me troubleshoot this table in the WIP thread.  Forgive me for anyone I forgot to thank, it's not, I'm just very forgetful.

  • Fixed the issue with shooting the scoop during Hotel mode not spitting the ball back out (actually it would, but you have to wait over 3 minutes).
  • 1. Download the v1.4.1.zip table, unzip and place in your Visual Pinball\Tables folder
  • 2. Download the GIF pack and place the folder in your Visual Pinball\Tables folder (dir should remain named America's Most Haunted.UltraDMD)
  • 3. Download the Music pack and extract it to Visual Pinball\Music
  • 4. Download UltraDMD here (https://ultradmd.wordpress.com/download/). Follow the instructions on that page, including the XDMD downloads, but you don't need the scene builder or test table.

Desktop version right?

Is there please also a FS Version ready?

And the Roms which Rom we need it?

In the editor, click on BackDrop, then input the following numbers, starting with inclination:

12

45

60

270

1.35

1.9

1

-335

200

0

And no ROM needed/possible.  There is no emulator for a Propellor (what this game was programmed on).  All coding is copied from the original and transcoded from C to VBScript.

I think this is a nice table, but how can I play this without that b2s/dmd stuff? If I start the table a message appears "active-x components cant create object:B2S.server"? Can not find a line in the script to change B2S to false. Please help.

In the version you downloaded, comment out/delete the line that says

Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")

In the newest version, make sure you LMEMDOFTables.txt file (in the User folder of you VP.exe folder) is set to 0 (if you even have that file).

If you don't have B2S, then you won't have access to the Options menu (setting solenoid power, setting game options like freeplay, credits per game, etc.)

You don't need UltraDMD to play, but you'll still get a message at the start of every table telling you that you really should get it, it's worth it.

Ok, thanks Shoopity but, I delete line 24, if I try to start a message appears "no ultra dmd found. this table may run without it (but why would you want to??)" if I click ok, another message pops up that says "object requiered: controller" line 9386?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you.  For the time being, until I get a newer version of code of up, since you're not using any controller at all (which means you won't have access to the Options menu; you can install B2S without actually using a backglass), search the code for "controller.b2s" and comment/delete every line that comes up; there should be about 28.  You don't need to delete every one, but to be safe, it won't hurt if you do.  That should get your table running.  Please let me know if it doesn't.

The next version of code will include a check if you have b2s running.

Versio0n 1.3 says file is broken when I try to unzip it

Not sure what happened, but it's broken on my PC too.  I've gone ahead and uploaded version 1.4 which now how sling animations and basic GI lighting on the playfield.
