After a brutal few hours of trying to meticulously restore just sections of the site, it was concluded a full DB restore was warranted.

 

This will result in the loss of some forum activity in the last 24 hours, as well as files uploaded/updated recently.

 

My sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please post here any issues you may notice in your travels.

So THAT is where the long beta test post i know that i made last night,
but assumed i must have made it while under the influence of some unknown mind altering substance possibly created when applying a cleaning agent to laptop plastics,

I've tried clearing my cookies as well as trying a different browser that I have never used to login to VPForums with.

 

I just thought I would mention it in case I'm the only one having issues.

You cant download that way
You are trying to jump direct to the download
but we dont have direct hard download links

Links are created on the fly from the table's main page
and the links expire in a couple minutes

 

this prevents people from running leach bots to rape the site silly

Try from an InCognito/InPrivate window
If its fine there, you need to do a full browser cache dump, for all time

Thank you for the quick reply. I'm sorry, I didn't explain well enough. My method to find the table was to go to VPX Tables and then all. I then found the Quick Draw table and went to the page for it https://www.vpforums...&showfile=12126

 

From there I clicked on the green download button which took me to the generated link I posted previously. I posted that in case helped anyone see what the problem was. 

 

If I click back and hit the green button again sometimes it will work, sometimes it takes 2 or 3 times, sometimes more.

 

I tried an incognito window in Chrome and got the same results, which didn't suprise me since it didn't work from Firefox. I use Chrome 99.9 percent of the time and had never logged into vpforums from Firefox, so there couldn't be any history to clear.

Are you behind a caching web proxy?

I am behind a firewall, which is behind a T Mobile Internet hotspot. Nothing has changed on my firewall config in ages, more than a year, and I have had the T Mobile for about as long. This only started happening a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not running any kind of VPN software on this computer.

 

I am going to pull my laptop out and do some testing in the morning. I can try plugged in straight to the T-Mobile, and I also have another Internet connection that I can try it one. I will let you know.

I disconnected from ExpressVPN and downloading worked.
