Common Ground question

Hi everyone,

 

Simple and may be stupid question about wiring a cab:

I know all Gnd (negative) from each power supply need to be common, but should also make it common with the Gnd (negative) of the USB from the PC ?

Hi everyone,

 

Simple and may be stupid question about wiring a cab:

I know all Gnd (negative) from each power supply need to be common, but should also make it common with the Gnd (negative) of the USB from the PC ?

 

I dont think you should ground the USB controller to anything other than itself


If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i dont have any way to receive it anyways

If you really want to get rid of money you can donate to this

I checked the GND from USB of the KL52Z, IT IS COMMON to pin 14 (GND)

Anyone can confirm to me if I need to have GND from KL52Z (pin 14) common to all GND of all power supply ?

I checked and unless the KLZ has something odd going on
You can connect pin 14 common ground to frame ground (meaning main ground that PSU etc is tied to)
