is there a list of working vr headsets ?

For example the primax or the playstation VR headset ?

Oculus Rift S

Valve Index

HP Reverb.

If you don't have a headset yet, most likely you will want to choose between one of these.

Hey everyone.  I am slowly working on a Triple Strike update and conversion to VR with a room.   The room is pretty basic right now, but I have a few plans for it.  I have a few more things to do to get the table working perfectly.   Thanks RASCAL for helping me get the scoreboard reels converted to flashers and coded properly.

It's a good start.. Im really excited to see others who are into the Classic Nostalgia .. I would highly suggest in keeping your work as open..There are some talented gurus in this field who could add nice touches and realism to it..At the end of the day it's perfecting the table thats goal..

Cheers..

Not sure about the PSVR. I know there is a pc hack. But doesnt it have a lag on pc? All pc hmds that are supported by steam (vr) should work on VPX VR.

@senseless: Nice! Did you use g5ks T2 version (best version imo)?

No I went for the nFozzy version. I prefer that one.

Tonight I will post Centaur in VR, bord did an excellent job on this table :).

for rift S owners, are you using 80hz or dropping to 60?  I'm trying to determine what I get some fps spikes in my games (vs always being smooth as I really shouldn't have an issue performance wise as I'm using GTX 180 but maybe that's no longer enough?

Yes.

I am having performance issues. On Wednesday I will try the quest link again and if I still have issues I may ask questions. FYI with rift S no performance issues and I am using an actual oculus link cable

Is there an EASY way how to make the DMDs visible for normal tables (i'm a visual pinball noob)? If i play the non "VR Room" tables the DMDs are very small or missing completely in the VR view (visible on my desktop screen). I don't need nice cabinets or a room (of course it's nice to have). I just wanna somehow make the DMD visible in my VR view and in a larger size.

The easiest way is to copy the DMD from an existing VR table. You can find usually in the first layer of the table. It is a rectangle flasher object. Copy and Paste to your new table.

You can make it as large as you want. Drag the 4 ends manually or right click - scale it.

The DMD on the background layer can be deleted.

Make sure your script contains

"Dim DesktopMode:DesktopMode = Table1.ShowDT
Dim UseVPMDMD:UseVPMDMD = DesktopMode
Const UseVPMModSol = 1"

where Table1 should be the name of the table. In most cases this step is not necessary because the script is already there.

If you want DMD on an EM table it is the same except you need freezy's dmdext-v1.7.1 running and activated and using the new Dll by pressing F1 - "use external DMD" while the table is loaded.

In the Keys, Nudge and DOF settings make sure external DMD capture is activated.

And for VR rooms easiest way is to use https://www.vpforums...&showfile=14348

Cheers

Is there any updated guidance on drivers that work with AMD Radeon cards with VPVR? With newer drivers, the monitor shows the correct display that should be shown in the headset, but the headset is just black.  I've tried back-revving all the way to 18.2.1 which was referenced as possibly working, but I have the same issue.  I don't think I'll be able to run 17.X and still have my other stuff work, but I'm willing to try it if there isn't an alternative.

This is the post from mfuegemann that I believe has the latest info: https://www.vpforums...=38417&p=424844

Not that I know of, it's an issue with OpenGL in combination with AMD drivers which in general can be troublesome from what I've read on developer forums, I know Caligula started troubleshooting it a bit trying to find workarounds but I have not heard anything new in a while, I don't have an AMD card or I would take a look as well.
