Songs are numbered from 1 to 18.
They go in order from top left yellow box as song #1, below that is #2, below that is #3 and bottom left is #4. Middle top yellow is #5-#8, right column top to bottom is 9-12. 13 is Encore, 14 is Platinum, 15 is the first bootleg multiball, 16 is the second theatrical multiball, 17 is festival 3 ball, and 18 is the world tour multiball.
On your diagram, songs 1, 2, 6, 8, 9, and 12 don't play.
If your stroke length extends beyond the border of the screen, then the plunger will not animate or it will screw up the graphics, that's why the stroke length was set to the length it was before. You can move the plunger and everything in the area up, as well as the ball release kicker and adjust the wall to compensate for a longer stroke length if you need it longer.
Can you upload one of your mp3s that VP won't play so I can look at the encoding? maybe it's using an idv4 meta data tag or something.
The only way to get the displays on a second or third display is to have someone make a b2s file for it, or UVP. Spanned mode would work but I'm sure VirtuaPin can't do spanned modes as it uses relatively current hardware instead of ancient stuff.

also, i've been getting the ball stuck on the left ramp. Right after it comes out from under the CD. IF it's a slow shot that barely makes it around or it dribbles side to side up there, it will just stick about 2" after the CD. Happened 3 times now.
Just got it stuck on another part of the ramp. Down towards the bottom where it vers to the right a little, it got hung up on the shift part. Shaking the cabinet loosened it up, but couldn't unstick the top ones.

I can't get any external music to play in this table. I ripped a few songs in as low as 128k and they still don't play.
Here is my script and I attached a file for review.
other code snipped for brevity .....
TrackFilename(1)="03 - Tighten Up.mp3"
TrackFilename(2)="04 - Howlin' for You.mp3"
TrackFilename(3)="06 - Black Mud.mp3"
......
I copied the songs into c:\program files\visual pinball\music
the songs play outside of the table if I double click on them.
the internal table sounds play fine too. play music and sounds are checked in the audio options in VP and at full.
Is there something else to turn on? Not sure why this attachment put underscores in the filename, but I double checked and the filenames match the script.

When I first tried this, none of my songs played. They were 320 kbps MP3's with constant bit rate. Rather than spend much time troubleshooting, I quickly converted them to 192 kbps MP3's with this and then they all played fine:

The problem is that your mp3 has an ID3v2 tag set in the file.
You can play the file in WinAmp - and in WinAmp right click the file and left click view file info. Click on the ID3v2 tab and uncheck the box that says include ID3v2 Tag in file and click ok.
Then VP plays it fine. Much quicker than re-encoding the file when this is the problem. Most likely the converter Shooby used strips the ID3v2 tags out when it 'converts'.
VBR files play fine too (tested) - it's the ID3V2 tags that vp can't handle. At least the fix is simple.

WOW! That is a good tidbit of info there! I have been wondering about this for awhile. I remember some people having issues with the Beatles table(s) and I never could figure out what caused some mp3's to play and others to not. I never personally had issues, probably because i mae my own samples without adding a tag, but this is good stuff to know!!!
Cheers,
Maceman

worked like a charm. All is good. This little tidbit of info should be included with every Mp3 table, so people that have problems can fix it easy.

Wow, I can't get this to play any music at all. The sounds work fine, but no music is played.
I even tried songs from the beatles table from Bob and they work perfectly in his table, but don't play in this one.
I don't get any errors, but just hear the drain sounds and whatever sounds are in the sound manager of the table.
Here are the tracks I entered in the trackfilename section. Is there something else you need to do besides have the songs in the music folder?
Dim TrackFilename(18)

All the MP3s from here work - http://www.vpforums....i...&hl=beatles
Make sure your visual pinball Music folder is called "Music" and it's under the visual pinball folder, and that you are putting the mp3 files into the correct music folder. Since none of them play and you copied them all into the same place, most likely all of them are in the wrong folder. To ensure the filenames are identical, rather than typing each filename in by hand you could use "DIR/B >LIST.TXT" from a command prompt without the quotes, and then open that in notepad and copy/paste the names into the script.
Here is another music test table...
JPSalas is on vacation for the next two weeks. When he gets back I'll ask if he can make different theming graphics.
In the meantime, anyone can work on mods with other graphics sets if they like.

Very good idea & great work guys, thx for this table !
Would it be much work to make a less "rock exclusive" version ? (so u can have pop/country/... songs)
or even a summer/reggae version (as it's now summer for most of us) ?

Well, I feel silly.
I have 2 folders for VP (one is the standard install, and one for hyperpin so I can have everything under the same hyperpin folder.
I created the music folder under the vp install under hyperpin and moved the mp3s there. It works and so does the other table now.
Thanks!
Now off to add some cool music to the table!
