Hit the Deck VP911 FS

Version: 1.0.0
Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): jpsalas, Eala Dubh Sidhe

Description:
Based on the table by Gottlieb from 1978
Based on the table by Gottlieb from 1978
Thanks to Eala Dubh Sidhe for letting me use his script. I just added the extra subs for the VP9 tables, like the flippers, nudge, some animations, etc.

Also thanks to José who suggested this table.

This is an EM table, so don't look for ROMS smile.gif

This is the FS version. I only added the score and the credits on top of the apron, so the table will be playable with one monitor. You don't see the match numbers or the game over light. But it is playable smile.gif I guess some of you will like to use a second screen with this table, but that is beyond me, since I only use one screen smile.gif

These are my tables, sorted by date, all them playable with VPX 7 or newer:

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

Thank you Eala and JP for this FS version too.

I just got done playing the desktop version and the nudging is awesome, great job. Also I really like the fact that since it's Eala's old script, it keeps highscore (though that may not be visible on this FS version)

Thanks Buzz

It's a rare table only made in the 300's. You may have played the FP version though Neptune which was the add-a-ball and even less of those were made.

Great Table JP .. a true addition to all your other brilliant recreations!

Busy with the UVP for it .. only not having a rom to 'back-it-up' doesn't help much .. sad.gif

Guess I have to compare it with 'Fast Draw' and 'borrow' the 'Amazon Hunt' rom to be used.

Thanks again for a really nice playing Table!

Cheers,
FD.

*bump* - this table is too good not to have it's own UVP. Any progress?

Ummm, this is an EM therefore does not use ROMs therefore the standard UVP cannot be employed here. Sorry. sad.gif

What exactly is the deal with this being an EM but with digital scoring or on the real machine are they just reels made to look digital.

I'm confused as well. There are other EM tables that have been converted to use use UVP via digital reels (although Rosve recently broke through with the cool looking EM reels). Not entirely sure when you can use UVP (albeit digitally) versus not being able to use it at all.

The way that rosve is making those FS EM tables does not use the UVP system created by Manofwar.

The UVP system created by Manofwar requires a rom and pinmame.

Since EM tables do not use a rom, therefore they do not use pinmame and that means there is no "system" to tell the UVP Server how to display the score, ball in play, and credits type of information.

Best Regards,
Todd.

on the real machine they are EM reels that are made to look like LEDs, but are actually fully mechanical

So with tables like Fast Draw, that was an EM table with reels, a different ROM was used then to use UVP and have the scores displayed digitally?

yeah, fast draw used the rom from amazon hunt, since the playfield layouts are virtually the same.
